Bugs et al have always been for adults not so much for children. That’s why I always preferred them to Disney characters. I grew up with Warner Bros. Entertainment and have never found a suitable replacement, so that is that!

Successful Reboot
Not that it was long lived but I would consider this show a successful reboot. It didn't detract from the original cartoons and characters, it gave a new take on them while keeping the important attributes (Bugs continues to be the protagonist in a... Jerry Seinfeld sort of way, Daffy has his nutty behavior toned down a bit but continues to be self-centered and his own worst enemy, Porky remains a loveable honest and naive rube, and I'll lastly mention that Speedy makes a wonderful return to media in this show); it successfully sets them up for their roles as more fleshed out recurring characters in a sitcom setting.I wish I had gotten into this show when it was originally on the air, I only became aware of it afterwards with some clips that were shared to me but I loved it immediately. And hands down I think this is my favorite incarnation of Lola Bunny that I've seen anywhere - she skates the line between annoying and hilarious but more often than not hilarious wins out... that DMV episode, lol.I picked up all the dvd's that are available for this show (including this set I'm reviewing), I only wish the final episodes found their way onto physical media because I have a huge interest in watching them as well.Highly recommend this show whether you're a fan of the original shorts or not.

80’s Kid Looney Tunes Watcher Approved
Growing up in the 80’s, this was the foundation of my Saturday mornings. I didn’t think the “New” Looney Tunes would measure up.I was WRONG!Hilarious doesn’t begin to describe what the new age Buggs, Daffy and Friends bring to modern day. If you are fan of the old, Trust Me, you’ll be a fan of the new as well.

Why are all the episodes not on the desk it is so frustrating when you're trying to buy a season or volume and you don't get all of them

New Take on Classic Looney Tunes
I love this show, and while the second season episodes flowed much better than the first season (I'm not a fan of the musical numbers in between storylines), I still had to have season 1 on dvd, even if it was broken up into separate releases. This particular one has the first 12 episodes of season 1 and while it was a rough ride of introductions and seeing classic characters in different roles (the tazmanian devil as Bug's pet dog is a little odd, but still entertaining), but overall this show grows on you pretty quickly.
