How smooth is the range of motion on this machine?

The pully wheels have ball bearings, The two chrome bars has a coating of lithium grease. In my opinion it's smooth. It's quality "HOME" gym equipment. It's stout. It feels good to use. No regrets. I have at for a year or two and use all the time.

I am 6'4", will I have a hard time using this maching in a full range of motion?

I'm 6'2" and I have room to spare. You'll probably be at the limit but I think you'll be close to your full range.

Can you do Kneeling Cable Crunches with a rope and the lat pulldown portion of the machine or is there not enough length in the machine to do that?

You wouldn't be able to lock your legs under the machine's padded rests because of the angle the cable comes down. It would be rubbing against your head/neck
