I traded my "regular" swiffer tool for this newer one and am glad I did. The head is better and locks in place for baseboards, etc. It took me a little while to figure out how to pull the handle out. It also came with some wet and dry swiffer pads, which was an added bonus. The price was reasonable and I recommend the updated version.

Aside from having to always buy reloads and a little tricky was my experience with the mop at first in getting the pads to stay on, until I figured it out like a lock, this Swiffer absolutely schooled my old broom by catch all and then some, instead of blow dust balls around with wind from the sweeping. Also the Swiffer definitely wins in less time taken when compares to my old mop. Getting out the ol'bucket and filling it with water and soap then dipping the old mop in and squeezing it out before I begin to mop had got to go because clean up is also much longer then just throw the pad away lile this Swiffer. Ready? Okay so we have to empty the bucket, drain the water out the mop again of course, put the bucket away and the mop. For all that there is just way too much advantage in the Swiffer to ever go back to older types of brooms and mops. Thanks for a great product!

This could be a case of using the wrong tool for the job, but I assumed since the dry mop head said good for dirt and that it was strong, it'd be great to get dust from high places. Well... it certainly removes it but it doesn't lock it in. I had dust particles falling from above. If used on the ground, it's not an issue. I do still prefer a traditional mop for my floors but this is nice in a pinch and I love that it retracts for storage in small spaces.

I have been using swiffers since they first came out. It was always handy for light jobs but failed with tough spots that required scrubbing: the handle was weak and a wet cloth tended to pull off the pad. This model has a strong handle with adjustable height that locks in place and tighter insert grips on the pad that are now much more secure. The handle easily swivels 360 degree, the pad adjusts securely for both floors and baseboards, and the beefy new heavy duty wet cloths and dusters tackle tougher jobs. Time to retire the old model.

once it finally got here, I like it a lot. I use it as dry mop for all hard wood and vinyl plank floors. I am in a wheelchair and especially like the height adjustment. It picks up all pet hair, crumbs and anything that blows in including small bugs. then I can just throw all that away, instead of taking mop out to shake which I can't do in wheelchair.

So easy to assemble, compact, and fits right under my sink . I had a spinal cord injury last year and now am a paraplegic. I bought this mop a week ago, and its the best money I have ever spent. My new Swiffer mop never falls to the floor where I cant reach, like my old conventional mops did, when propped in the corner for storage, always tangling in my chairs wheels. This mop glides, and doesn't strain my arms and back when mopping. Its out of sight, stored , and reachable because of the collapsible handle!! Brilliant! Something so simple is lifechanging. No fighting water bucket or wringing out mop. I can mop my own floors and feel good about my independence and clean floors. No longer need to hire a person to come do my floors.

Although the mop handle could be sturdier, the pafs work wonderfully well. I have textured linoleum that has been hard-to-find clean even with microfiber clothes. These pads keep great contact with the floors I have to mop up the dirt well.
