Tasty and Nutritious Grain
I like that they're organic. Very good and easy to cook in a rice cooker, and the nutrition is top notch. This will be one of my main grains going forward.

Good product quality and tasting, Organic
I have used this Company before and so far they have sold good products. This Sorgum is good tasting to me and good quality. It is a bit unique of a grain and you have to adjust the water to the level you like in cooking it. Still great product, always fresh.

Instead of Brown Rice Option
I was looking for a change from Brown Rice. I was reading about Sorghum and decided to give it a try. I typically prepare my rice in my Instant Pot, so looked for a recipe that utilized the Instant Pot for comparison. Like brown rice, I found the sorghum has it's own distinctive taste. I can't say I like it better but instead believe it is a comparable option. It takes longer to prepare Sorghum, 45 minutes cook time in the instant pot, versus 21 minutes for brown rice, but just means starting the process about an 1 1/2 hours vs about an hour. So if you're looking for a change give it a try and see what you think.

Nutritious and Versatile Grain
I've been incorporating Shiloh Farms' organic sorghum grain into my meals, and it's been a delightful addition. The grains are clean and cook up nicely with a pleasant, nutty flavor and chewy texture. It's a fantastic gluten-free alternative to other whole grains.I've used it in salads, soups, and even popped it like popcorn for a healthy snack. The quality is consistent, and I appreciate that it's USDA Organic certified.Overall, it's a great product for those looking to diversify their grain options with something wholesome and organic.

great organic product. Did you know it has 10 Grams of protein per cup?
It's the highest protein grain there is. I add it to my salad at dinner.

Not Great for Popping
I bought this as a substitute for pop corn. It doesn't even come close. The taste is okay but it only pops about 30% and the kernels are very small. I tried it in a pan and with an air popper.

Delicious, overpriced
by weight, its significantly more expensive than rice. But, it tastes great and makes me feel good the day of eating it (cooked popcorn style). Smells good cooked too.

Best one I've found for popping
I tried a few different brands and this is the best one for popping that I've found. One has to accept that not all of the grains are going to pop, but I find this brand a little slower to burn, so I have a tad more time to get the most yield of popped grains. I just dump the whole result, popped or not into a bowl and enjoy eating it. Even the unpopped grains taste good and add to the overall texture. I pop about 1/4 cup of grains in about a little over a tsp of Kerrygold butter, then add a little bit of pink salt when ready to eat. Tastes great!
