Best taste, healthy, fair price
This is my favorite maple syrup. I like to put it in my morning coffee, and I also like to put it on boiled potatoes with some melted butter. At under $20, it is a fair price. For some reason the dark kind costs $25, and I don't like the dark kind as much as the amber. I just don't understand why Amazon will ship the dark kind but not ship the amber kind. There is no whole foods where I live so when I was in a location with a whole foods I had to buy enough of this to last me for the whole winter. It's so strange why they don't just allow it to be shipped, since the dark kind can be shipped.

Tastes so good!
Love the taste. It’s excellent flavor and consistency. Did not miss “regular” syrup at all with this!

My favorite sweetener
I go through so much of this syrup, and I don't even eat pancakes. I found that a tablespoon of maple syrup in my espresso is the ultimate sweetener for fantastic tasting homemade lattes. The maple flavor in coffe is just a perfect combination. I feel good knowing that pure maple syrup is one of the healthiest of all sweeteners being a super food containing minerals and antioxidants.

Syrup is a little thin
Syrup tastes fine but the consistency is a little thin. I'm used to maple syrup from Canada and Vermont which is a little thicker. I thought they'd all be the same but not so, at least to my taste buds. However it still tastes ok - but definitely will reorder product from the East Coast.

Fairly neutral sweetener
For the most part, when I use maple syrup, I want it to taste strongly of maple syrup, and so I reach for the darker grades of syrup for pancakes etc. I've also started using maple syrup as a liquid sweetener in iced teas because it dissolves in cold water pretty easily, but dark maple syrup obliterates the taste of more delicate teas like green and matcha. So I decided to give the Amber a go, since it's flavor is reportedly much milder than Dark. (After all the selling point of Dark maple syrup is that it tastes so strongly of maple!) And I've been pleasantly surprised by how well it works in my iced green teas.YMMV, because I'm not the most refined when it comes to tasting teas (everything from apple to raspberry notes just tastes 'fruity' to me), but to my taste buds, this stuff is mild enough to be fairly neutral in taste profile. It's not as purely neutral as brown sugar crystals, but, to my palate, its presence is negligible.
