Total rip off - tiny little dry biscuits
These things are absolutely tiny, the size of a 10p coin, how can these be worth £13.00? Very very overpriced, disappointed, I was looking forward to a juice filled biscuit, I actually started laughing when I opened the tin. Total rip off. Paracetamol tablet placed on top for size reference. 😂

sweat treat
I have a very sweet tooth therefore I really like middle Eastern desserts, they're always so good and sweet.I really liked the texture on these cookies, it is very smooth and melts in your mouth.I also really like that they come in a very nice metallic tin, which makes them ideal to buy as present for someone.

More cookie than date, a little dry, but tasty
Whilst these cookies had a good soft taste, with a moderate amount of date filling, I found it to be too dry and crumbly as the ratio of cookie - date filling was imbalanced. I felt that the date filling came up short, it made for an unsatisfying bite. They are packaged in a few layers of plastic wrap inside the tin, which seem unnecessary, however the biscuits are very soft and crumbly so I get it. Some of them were broken already. They go well with tea, milk and are bite sized, if you want you can add some chocolate which I recommend or even some honey or cream, they're culinarily versatile.

Not too sweet
So tasty and you get so many in the tin. They are little cookies - kind of a cake on the outside with a nice filling of dates in the middle. They are on the dryer side, so they'll work well with a warm beverage. Cute flower pattern on them. The filling is just naturally sweet from the dates, so it's really lovely and not overpowering - I could eat so many of these in one sitting if they weren't as dry as they are.

Expensive
Tiny box ( didnt pay attention to weight) taste was ok , not two layers one layer on top and 3 cookies underneath , i thought i was getting two full layers . Expensive for such a small amount

Lovely little treat
Never tried these before but they're lovely, nothing to copare it to so can't say authentic they are but they do taste nice.Small but rich, nice buttery pastry and a soft gooey filling. Closest comparison to an English staple is a fig roll but with nicer pastry and the filling is softer and sweeter but a similar taste.Get plenty in a tin, 2 layers of whats pictured on my review, great for guests if they're popping over or at a dinner party, goes great with coffee btw. Shared this with my parents and only managed 2 or 3 each, they are deceptively filling, so there's plenty left for future events and they have a good shelf life.
