Kids time
This self-contained drone kit is perfect for anyone interested in learning how drones work. With parts to build five different drone bodies, it's both educational and customizable. The instructions and parts give you a hands-on experience with key drone components, and I love that extra propellers are included. After gaining some confidence flying, I even plan to use my 3D printer to experiment with new drone shapes! It took a little practice to get my piloting skills in sync, and while the auto take-off and landing features are useful, I found manual control was smoother. The drone held up well even with a slight breeze, showing it’s durable and reliable for beginners. For the quality and learning experience this kit offers, I think it’s well worth the price.

It’s a lot of fun
This is so much fun,I originally bought this for my youngest son. We both looked at it and said omg it’s a Lego style DIY create your own Drone but technically it’s not a drone no camera included.4 different colors. All chips and wires needed included with the DIY drone. It was pretty simple to put together with directions. It goes as high as I’m guessing about 40-50 ft in the air. Not to durable as one hoped for it’s plastic and wires exposed. The flight goes up/down/left/right. Design is up to the purchaser. Very lightweight. And so far I have charged it once.. Battery life great as we play with it every day.Is it worth the money yes.. just be advised it’s electric and parental guidance is recommended. We enjoy it very much.

Super Disappointed!
I should have just purchased a drone for each boy as Christmas present, but his dad and I thought it would be a great learning experience for them to build their own. I purchased three of these, one for each grandson for Christmas! I chose these because they looked close to Lego sets which they build all the time. They had no problem putting them together, but ... THEY DO NOT WORK!!!! I asked my daughter about getting them back to return, but she said that they had torn up boxes when putting them together and pieces where all mixed together. So....hopefully they will be able to use parts for something, but it will not be a drone. Super disappointed because they were so excited about getting a drone. I would not waste money on this product!!!!!

Pass on this one.
I bought a couple of these for my grandsons. They are cheaply made and work so-so.

BETTER THAN ANTICIPATED
Upon opening the box, I found the drone, which was completely assembled and ready to fly. Everything you need was included except for 3 AA batteries, which was not an issue as most items come without batteries. I attached the battery pack to the drone and installed batteries in the controller. The controller comes with a removable card showing the function of each button/joystick. This was a great help and allowed me to test it right away before introducing it to my grandchildren. This product is of excellent quality. Spare parts, propeller, and wiring are included, even a screwdriver. The included storage case adds to the value of the product. I highly recommend for anyone that wants a drone.

NIce concept, worked a few times, then became frustrating
It's a nice concept - a modular drone using Lego peices. My son has plenty of those, so it's an interesting idea in principle. But the battery doesn't last long, the thing is not very intuitive (warning lights and beeps go off with little explanation as to why) and it falls apart with one wrong landing. I would recommend a more durable drone if you're looking for one.

build your own drone
Super fun kit for my son. It obviously isn't high quality drones to fly around a lot, but is great for him to learn and understand how a drone works and assembles together. Lots of fun!
