Best Taste + Caffeine Level | The Real Meep Meep Juice
We have been drinking Puroast Bourbon Pecan for years. We got hooked on it when living in Miami. It was walking distance to our place. We always purchased bags of coffee from their flagship to give as gifts. The taste is incredible and the caffeine buzz is even better. We call it our "meep meep juice." That being said, I would not drink this in the evening unless you need a serious boost. It is our favorite coffee and the only coffee we drink. As someone who struggles with acidity, this product is a godsend. The pH level of over 5.5 makes it incredibly gentle on the stomach, yet it doesn't compromise on the rich, robust flavor. The medium roast strikes the perfect balance between bold and smooth. What genuinely sets this coffee apart is the exquisite hint of bourbon pecan. It's not overpowering but adds a delightful twist that elevates the coffee experience. Not only does this coffee taste amazing, but it also boasts higher antioxidant levels, contributing to overall health benefits. Every sip feels smooth and luxurious, without any bitterness or harsh aftertaste.Puroast Low Acid Coffee is a must-try for coffee lovers, especially those seeking a stomach-friendly option. Even if you are not a coffee drinker, I highly recommend!

So good! Especially after VSG surgery
Not only is this coffee really good with a smooth rich taste but the low acid is perfect for my new tummy after bariatric surgery. Will continue to buy this coffee for years to come.

Not as bad as originally thought!
For starters this coffee boast of three times the potency of regular coffee. I use about 52 grams 1.5 quarts of water. Usually I use 78 but cut it about one third less of the coffee. It taste like nuts and roasted sugar syrup. It taste a little like tarrish but not to bad. It has a strange sweet sugary taste to it. If you bought or plan to buy I suggest using about one third less than you normal amount. It does taste slightly watery but it has flavor. It had a nutty flavor. It supposed to be more potent than regular coffee so that means we require less. Because I did not give up exactly on this coffee I think I found the right coffee water ratio that makes it drinkable for me otherwise if I use me regular amounts of coffee it taste horrid like the feeling in the mouth from when they put fresh tar on the street. Now I find it strange taste and satisfying at one third less than my regular amount of coffee.Signing off Nano! nano!

Tremendous flavor & smoothness!
Yesterday, I wrote the following: “I bought the “Vanilla Caramel Kailua”, and it’s smooth, robust and rich. I’ll order the Pecan one now as I believe this one is like a dessert, so specialty coffee.I’m keeping up with my ph, after 2 cups, I’m a 7.0, so I’m very impressed!”Hats off to Puroast…they’ve mastered the acid! 🎊🎉🥳Then I quickly order the Bourbon Pecan after reading reviews about it! I had it this morning and Wow! I truly have found my forever coffee.Again, for those keeping up with their PH levels, I was just as good as yesterday!Give it a try, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!!!

Bourbon pecan pre-ground smells and tastes like burnt toast
I ordered the whole bean version and they sent me pre-ground, so I've no idea if the same is true for the whole bean version. All I can say is the bourbon pecan pre-ground coffee in the bag smells burned, as it's percolating it smells burnt, and the finished product tastes burnt. 10/10 do not recommend. That said, I ordered the Kahlua something whole bean version, and it's delightful. As for acidity, neither flavor has a low acid content. I add a pinch of black lava salt to my coffee to counteract acid.

Good News- No Reflux, Bad News- Taste is Very Mediocre
This review is for the Vanilla flavored Puroast. First, I have to admit I'm not a coffee connoisseur, my favorite stuff is probably Dunkin Donuts Vanilla brewed at home.I have pretty severe reflux disease. At one point I had a choice between drinking coffee or sounding like I smoked eight thousand unfiltered cigarettes a day because of the hoarseness and wheeziness. For what it's worth, I chose to eliminate the coffee and keep my voice and lung capacity. Problem is, I love coffee both for the flavor and for the mood boost and, as my only vice, it was terribly hard to give up. I looked at a few options in low-acid coffees and went with Puroast for the good reviews on here and other sites.I'm not sure if the reviews lauding the flavor are planted or what, but this stuff tastes like watered down Folgers even when brewed strong. When I do brew it strong it's bitter and needs a lot of creamer and sugar. When I brew it in the coffee maker at home there is no intoxicating coffee aroma wafting through the house like you get with a normal coffee. I also don't feel a strong buzz when I drink it, but then again I don't, and I'm trying to be polite here, have the same sense of "urgency" to use the washroom afterward.Probably the biggest complaint I have is that the stuff simply does not taste like vanilla flavored coffee. Does not taste like it, does not smell like it. At all.I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the bags I bought simply had a "Vanilla" sticker on top of an old label that said "French Roast". Maybe they changed the contents along with the sticker but there is no real way of knowing as again, either the vanilla they put in is extremely weak, or they just sold me some old french roast tarted up as vanilla flavored. On the plus side, and this is a big plus in spite of my complaints, I can drink coffee again. I even tried the "acid test"; orange juice and two cups of this coffee in the same day. I had very minimal reflux and it was the orange juice. If this had been normal coffee I would have been doubled over with chest and gut pain and would have sounded like a wizened female truck driver the next day. I have been drinking at least a cup of this stuff a day for over a week and have not had an episode. This is a notable difference for me.In summation, if you have reflux and are craving coffee, give this stuff a shot. It's not perfect in flavor, doesn't provide a great buzz, but it's coffee and you can drink it without killing your insides.I hope this review helps someone.
