Great comb.
After an overzealous TSA agent in San Luis Obispo took my metal folding beard comb “because it looked too much like a pocketknife”, yeah, really! I had to get a new one. I figured that I’d go with a wood one for next time. This comb is great! Sturdy, the screw connector is tight and not loose. And it has a great wood smell that transfers to your beard. It also fluffs your beard a bit to make it more full. Great comb.

nice smelling comb
really nice beard comb. folds down so I can keep it in my pocket without fear of catching and breaking the comb tines as well as keeping the comb clean. as an added bonus, the sandalwood smells really nice.

UPDATED: not perfect, but great for the price
UPDATE: Viking Revolution reached out to me in response to my initial review (below). They offered a refund or replacement, and I opted for the latter. The new comb arrived and it's a lot better. The fit&finish isn't perfect, but for the price, I'm not going to complain. Nothing a little sandpaper won't solve. And very responsive, top-notch customer service. Thank you, Viking Revolution!I'm going to have to make some modifications to make this comb usable. The Chicago screw that holds the comb to the handle is too long, so there's essentially no friction in the joint. This makes it very floppy and impossible to use. I'll have to add some sort of thin washer/shim to add friction. The finish is sloppy, too, with deep gouges and chips in various places, and it seems like this hasn't seen sandpaper. But because the handle is also pretty clunky, there's plenty of wood to work with, so I'll just do some sanding and make it nicer, and maybe something closer to the product images in this listing. But it's a nice size and the comb part itself seems good. So I'll live with the feeling that I bought a "comb kit" rather than a finished comb. And probably try a different brand if I ever have to replace this one.

Compact and durable
My first one lasted about 3.5 years before losing it. Had a great smell and was comfortable to the skin

I good edc comb
I really like the comb. The sandalwood smells very nice, but it isn't overpowering, leaving my hands and beard with a lite and warm scent. It reminds me of sitting in my Great Uncle's woodshop. He worked with a lot of sandalwood for ornamental pieces he'd make for his church, and I had no idea how much nostalgia I had for the scent. As you use the comb along with your preferred products, the comb conditions itself and takes on notes of whatever scent your chosen products imbues. Ideally, the scent on the comb becomes uniquely yours. Its nice that the retention screw is keyed (its a phillips slotted combo), so you can tighten it up if it gets loose, or if you like it to really stick open or closed. I also really appreciate the understated branding. I am not a skull-and-crossbones or tophat kind of guy, and a lot of grooming products for men really push that imagery across their branding. This company keeps it branding reasonably clean throughout their offers. My marks against this product are decidedly nit-picky. The design is very simple, which is fine, but I would like to have seen some chamfered edges; its a bit blocky in the pocket. When unfolded, the tooth side of the come is flush across the teeth and handle, which does make you have to manipulate the comb between a lot of different angles to avoid just rubbing the hilt on you beard. This isn't a problem as such, but a small design flaw that could have been rectified with a belt sander (which would also solve the non chamfered edges), or by allowing the comb to unfold wider, allowing hold and manipulate it as you would a straight razor. The sleeve does offer some protection against pocket lint and key-ball scuffs, but a slightly more premium material and perhaps a buttoned flap would be nice. If dropped in the sleeve that is included, it is prone to ejecting out of it and skidding across the ground. Not a huge deal, especially for $10, but it did happen to me, and my comb is a little scuffed now.Long story, short: If I broke this comb today, I would order another asap.

Super fun!
Great size for a beard comb! It’s super fun and holds up! I love that it came with a case.

nice and weak
nice idea, smelled of pine which I liked and combed well but.... it broke exactly like the pic someone else shared. I did glue it back and still use it but for how long....

This is an excellent comb!
I will admit. The teeth were spaced out a little more than I thought, but combs my beard really well when I'm on the go!I have psoriasis on my face, and have been wanting a decent folding beard comb for when I am out and about so I can slip into a bathroom and quickly clean up my beard (it acts up even worse when I'm clean-shaven)The wooden tips of the teeth exfoliates just enough to condition the skin under my beard, and also helps in distributing any oils throughout the beard. Easy to clean and maintain, the hinge is nice and tight so I haven't had to tighten it yet. The sandlewood smell is a plus! This is a sturdy comb, but I would put it in a less used pocket or a shirt pocket so you don't risk knocking it too hard, it is a lightweight wood peoduct after all.5/5!
