The media could not be loaded. We have needed an intercom for some time now. My husband works in our basement, and I work in my office on the main floor. I bought a couple of walkie-talkies, hoping that would work, but it just didn't. When I saw this intercom set, I ordered it immediately. I came with six intercoms. We didn't need that many, but I'm finding other rooms to use them in. It arrived in short order, and I went about setting up three out of the six intercoms I received. The setup was simple: plug in and start using it. I was impressed. We had been using cell phone messaging and emails to communicate, which was time-consuming. This was so effortless to begin using, and it works excellently for us. I also put one in his workshop, which is separate from his office. Now we can communicate easily and don't have to wonder if the other person got the message. I'm going to put another one in the garage, and it could be beneficial to have one in our bedroom. I can't describe how much we appreciate these intercoms; they are wonderful, and anyone can set them up. They are a great value if you're looking to upgrade your home's communication needs. I highly recommend them.

It works. Don’t ask me how to set it up. I let my 12 and 13 year olds work that magic and they did. They’ve also proceeded to tattle on their older brother and make creepy demogorgon sounds for the last 30 minutes. There’s been no issues with me be able to hear any of that nonsense, so at this point five out of five stars for functionality.

The intercom works very well. The voice is legible??/audible even between floors. And the operation of same is quite simple--even senior citizens can figure it out. Good product so far and it has a 24 month warranty.

I have installed intercoms in several rooms of the house, both upstairs and downstairs.We are absolutely thrilled with the operation, and as they are portable, I can move the unit to the garage and still keep in touch. They are compact and simple to set up. I highly recommend them.

Great product but could be louder

Pleasantly surprised by quality and effectiveness!

I bought one of these to be used in in our house with children, as it sometimes is difficult to call from one floor to the other. However, the model we bought - although crystal clear- was not loud enough. Probably perfect for office use or for seniors. reached out to customer service, who advised me about a louder model HY811. got it, and it works much better! Customer service was great! .
