I will buy a couple more of these.
For those short on time:The mirror exceeds the expectation for an item at that price. It's definitely good for home use. It probably covers most of light commercial use applications too. I will buy more of these for our home. That being said, if you expect hail, heavy storm, big rigs, or fork lifts taking a swipe at this item on a regular basis, you may want to shop for a mirror with a metal housing. No need for you to read the remainder of this paragraph. But if used for what plastic molded mirror mounts can reasonably stand up to, I think this product is as good as it gets. Here are my reasons:1. Good packaging: It came properly packaged in a solid cardboard box inside the (additional) Amazon Box. (no picture, tossed before I decided to write a review.) The mirror surface itself is protected by a foil.2. Not skimpy on addons: It comes with a set of four nice wall anchors.3. Good concept: The mirror is plastic, which makes it light. The mount is properly coated, heavy steel. Obviously, someone must have put some thought into this.4. Good design and finish of the plastic parts: I am by no means an expert in transfer molding. But I have seen how it's done and listened to experts in Far East and here in North America. So, without taking the mirror apart I looked at how the screws are seated. And I must say, I have a very good impression of the design and manufacturing quality. Another detail is the swivel joint. It moves very smoothly, very little friction. Someone must know the plastic shrinkage very well to come up with a design like this. Well done. Some users may find it to easy to move by accident. I suggest using a dab of hot glue to hold it in place, if really needed.Hope to you find this review helpful.

Avoid scraping your car buy a pair of these mirrors!
Great side mirrors for my single car garage to avoid the probability of scraping the sides. I straitened out flat the lower lip of each bracket and bent the larger end of each brackets at a 45 degree angle. I used my own 2-1/2" wood screws to mount the two brackets to the rear portion of the garage against the walls. I aligned each mirror with the my car's rear view mirrors. Perfect, now I have a clear rear and side vision as I drive my car in reverse into my garage. Great pair of mirrors, good sturdy metal brackets that needed to be straitened and bent for my particular purpose before tightening the mirrors in place. The mirrors can be manually rotated for best angle of view. I also painted a 20ft red stripe on the concrete floor at each side of my car's dimensions to better guide me. Total cost about $75, labor Zero, potential body shop savings in the Hundreds! Great recommended project, chuckling as I'm enjoying my morning cup of Nescafe with toast, reading my newspaper.

A little too convex.
A light weight, plastic mirror and enclosure with a fairly sturdy, mounting bracket other than drilling into concrete it was easy to install, and seems like it would be good for a wide angle view however, it was too wide an angle for my application, which was to see if I was centered in the doorway while backing out of the garage.

Excellent - great price - fast shipping
More and more of our team members are asking for a mirror so while they are engaged at their desk, they can still see if someone walks up behind, or is standing waiting to be seen. This mirror is great! Compact, yet has a nice long adjustable neck for ease of placement. And the clip seems to be very heavy duty. Can fit on a slim monitor screen, or the edge of a cubicle overhead shelf. Hopefully there will still be some in stock for when others want to have their own mirror.

Good product but didn’t work for me.
It’s a difficult review to write because I received this product last night and I tried it this morning but it broke. The product is well made and it does achieve its function. However, I immediately noticed that it’s a little tough to manage, not as flexible as I would have liked. As I was switching it around on my computer trying to find the best spot for it, I guess I didn’t clip it on right and as I turned around to throw something out it popped off and fell on the floor. It immediately broke and it wasn’t salvagable. I’m so sad because I really needed this and I didn’t even get a chance to really try it out. Not sure if I’ll purchase another. I also work in a high risk environment so seeing how easily it broke, I’m not sure that it’s the safest option for my office.Update: They were kind enough to send me a new one even though I didn’t request it. Bumping them up to 5 stars for the execellent customer service.

Doesn’t come with common hardware.
The quality of the mirror is very good and it’s lightweight. However, a few things you should know:1) It comes with concrete anchors that don’t work in normal walls. If you have sheetrock or wood studs, you’ll have to get your own plastic anchors and screws. The fasteners they provide require you to drill a 3/8” and slide the fastener into the wall and then you have a bolt sticking out of the wall that you put washers and a nut on... when you rotate the nut, the bolt rotates with it—horrible design, maybe good for concrete. Very surprised the seller didn’t include mounting hardware for the most common applications.2) The ball head on the back of the mirror has very little left-right adjustability—maybe 20 degrees. It has about 120 degrees of up/down adjustability. If your application will have the mirror turned more toward the wall one way or the other, it can’t do it as designed. I took the back of the mirror apart and reconnected the mounting base sideways so we could make the mirror tilt left where we needed it.It’s not a quick install with what is provided... it would be quick if you have the right hardware.
