Durable! My preschoolers have been using them for a long time now (one of their favorites) and all actual insect pieces have held up super well. And they are realistic!

My daughter loves bugs so this was for her and she loves it.

Eight year old grandchild is thrilled with all the components. However, the flashlight has a crack in the casing. The squeeze lever to charge the light does not self expand and often gets stuck in the casing. I had to pry it loose. Since its best to use the light to inspect things, the rechargeable flashlight is important. This is a disappointment.

the product is well build. Good gift for a 4th or 5th grader. it can be a begining science project for your little one.

My niece loves this set. It’s been something she reaches for every now and then when she comes to visit. She loved learning about the life stages and enjoys the puzzles.

I think for the price, it should have more life cycles. But I do like that the pieces are really textured.Some of the toys that come with it are really cheaply made. For example the tweezers barely open or hold anything. The flashlight has several buttons but only one works. The "notebokk" is useless.
