Q: Is this microwave safe?

I don't know if its microwave safe. My husband is a plumber and I got 2 of those, one for my husband and 1 for his boss. I would imagine it would be microwave safe but not sure, never tried it. Q: what is the handles made of?

The handle is made of ceramic, same as the cup. This can't be used in a microwave. I gave this to my hair stylist as a Christmas gift and she loves it.
