Good, solid seat.
Purchased on offer at £14. Would have paid full price. Very happy with it, its sturdy and works as expected.I paid £40 for the exact same seat a few years ago but it was the one with the designer cow design on it. The fittings were a tiny bit thinner than the older ones so I had to replace those but the new ones are better as they fit from above so you don't have to get your head round the back of the toilet to tighten / loosen the bolt.

Perfect, and easy to install.
I looked at a number of different toilet seats and their reviews before choosing this. All seats had their detractors, including this one, but the overall comments and price convinced me. I'm really happy with the product And it's fixings so far. Some reviews were scathing about the fixings and I bought an alternative set just in case, but they were absolutely fine and I found the whole process easy. The seat is really comfortable and hadn't budged despite the efforts of 6ft plus household members with a history of destroying loo seats. Would recommend. By the way, if you have trouble getting your old seat off, I would recommend using a cordless multi tool!

The ins and outs and ups and down of this toilet seat.
I was fortunate enough to see this at half price, so it was a great bargain. The shape isn't quite as elongated as my last one but it looks fine. It's well made of sturdy materials and the soft close works well.VERY easy to remove and refit for cleaning.Fitment was easy but you need to adjust it to suit which takes a little time.Only, very slight, criticism is that the fitment area of the design could benefit from slightly tighter tolerances so that there's less lateral slack.... but I'm comparing it to my last Screwfix soft-close which was twice the price....years ago!I'm 1.93m tall with a weight to match, so you could say that it's passed its load test too!! :)

So easy to fit.
As well as being a soft closing seat and cover it can be removed easily to clean the toilet more easily, the best thing though is that the fixings are all done from the top , no struggling to do up the screws from underneath.simple and easy to fix.

Good product
Easy to fit although the plastic grommet broke, but it did not affect the installation. Easy to fit, very secure and I like you can take the seat off to clean beneath

Great value toilet seat
Good quality for the cost, the fitting instructions are not easy to follow (I had the plastic fittings the wrong way around to start with but once I had worked it out the seat tool 5mins to fit)Easy to remove seat for cleaning.

Everything else top marks
Just one problem which I have decided to live with. The lid lifts up without any problems, however the seat does not stay in its lifted position until it is carefully helped with another light push. Has once slowly started to close when not told to. Is there any way of adjusting this error?

Use With Caution
The fitting was relatively easy although I had to use some strips of rubber so that the screw bits would grip tn the slots on the toilet bowl. The seat bit when up-right I now have got the measure of , but a warning should come for all men when using. When in the up position, the seat is static and all seems well to let the waters flow. 1/3 of the way through release you detect that the seat is moving slowly, but it seems to be moving that slowly that all will be well. The pace quickens and at 2/3 release you develop a feeling of un-ease, but there is only a 1/3 to go. Suddenly, the speed ramps up and its got you. After two clean ups, I am now extra careful before starting.
