Easy to use
I purchased this phone for my 90-year-old mother, who is not used to using a cell phone. She has had 2 other kinds in the past but couldn't figure out how to use them, even after being shown numerous times. This one specifically says for the elderly, and it really is. I will admit, it took me a while to set is up, the directions are not the best from the book that comes with it, but after emailing the help desk a couple times and asking them questions, they got right back to me with the answer, and it was smooth sailing after that. Buttons are big enough she can hit the right buttons, having the cradle to sit it in to charge of the night is so much easier for her than plugging in every night. And having the lanyard to keep up with it is the best part. She wears it around her neck, it's always there where she can find it. I can't tell you how many times she kept losing the other two she had. This one is great for her.

Cheap phone
You get what you pay for. This phone is too small for arthritic hands. It is made of cheap plastic and does not hold a charge.I tried different outlets. I tried with just a SIM card. I added the SD card. Nothing I did got it to work. All it did was show the charging bar, but it never charged.DO NOT buy this phone. It is a dud. Spend some money and get a good phone.

It's a phone. You can call other phones.
If you, like me, have a teenage kid who cannot be trusted with internet connected devices of any kind, (I would go into details, but the files were sealed by a three-judge panel), this phone is perfect. It makes calls, and does little else. I think you can put music on an SD card, but I haven't tested that. It also sends text messages, but you have to tap the number buttons multiple times to cycle through the letters on each one, so it takes like 45 minutes to type out "My Battery is l...", so it's actually just easier to call.My only complaint is the charging. It takes a longer time than you'd think to charge and the battery only lasts like two days. That may seem like a long time, but considering how little this thing actually does, it is outright ridiculous. My son also says that it's difficult to get the charge cable positioned properly to get the thing to charge, but he has difficulties and problems with literally every physical object that he interacts with that no one else experiences so who knows if that's true.TL;DRIt does what the Zach Morris brick phone did in the 90s. Good for teens, olds, hipsters, and little kids. Charging is mid.4.133425 out of 5 stars.

Clear calls. Texting. No predictive texting
This device does as advertised. It calls and texts. Has FM radio. Plays MP3s just fine.No camera no Internet capabilities.Problems.The buttons activate VERY easy if the phone is in your pocket. I started accidentally calling numerous people on my speed dial list. There is a lock feature to lock the device so this does not happen... However... It does not lock the emergency feature (911)... So after I locked the device I started inadvertently calling 911. I had to get a case to secure the device on my belt. It does come with a string to put it around your neck if you wish to do that. This phone does not have predictive texting .. only abc/ABC/Abc ... This was very Annoying to me being predictive texting is 90s technology and found on every device.Calls are clear and T-Mobile recognizes this phone and is $20 a month for unlimited calls/texts

Perfect for seniors
~~Update!! It only lasted about 9 months~~We bought this for my 88 yr. old mother with memory loss. It functions exactly like her cordless phone so she didn’t have to try to learn something new. We’ve bought her a cellphone in the past and she couldn’t remember how to use it so this was absolutely perfect! Love this product

This phone lasted 11 months before it started to faile
While away from the phone, it wouldn’t record an incoming call in the “in box” of the messages or show a symbol. Thus, it required going into “voice mail” often to check for calls. There were 5 green bars for the battery. It required recharging with 2 bars left, otherwise below that the phone wouldn’t work.I discovered that although I would delete a message, there was a storage area keeping them, which had to be deleted.

this product did NOT work with Tello
I had this item in the past but the screen quit working after a year. Had no problem using the tello sim card with that one but the one sent refused to recognize Tello-kept stating no sims card. Obviously defective and sent it back under free refund but UPS has no record and Amazon no help. So beware, some of these phones do NOT recognize Tello despite what the description says.

I received the phone as shown in the add, and on time.
I bought the phone for my Aunt who is 95 yrs old. I particularly like the SOS button, which she can use to alert us if she has an emergency. The buttons are great as well.
