Amazingly effective!

I’m really impressed by how effectively this controls odor and blocks fan noise when I run my AC Infinity Cloudline 4" out it. The fit is perfect, the build quality is solid, and it couldn’t be easier to use - I literally just dropped my fan on top and was good to go! If you need a reliable way to contain smells and reduce noise, while a bit expensive, this filter is top-notch. Highly recommended!

This filter is great. It's bigger so it lasts longer and filters better. Looks a lot sleeker than the smaller filter as well being all black. Comes with quality rope ratchets to hang this up. 10/10 would buy again.

I received this item for free through Amazon Vine.I received both the in-line fan and the carbon filter so my review is for both items.This in-line fan is extremely nice. I remolded my kitchen and the refrigerator I wanted is much larger than my old one. In order to install it, I had to build a custom alcove. The issue was the space I had is exactly the size of the refrigerator, so there is no clearance around the sides and top. The fridge requires a 2” gap all the way around for airflow to cool the compressor and condenser. I did some research and found an article on how someone had used an upright freezer and an upright fridge and built them in side by side, they hooked a duct into the home's HVAC to pull air in. My house is an open floor plan with the wall behind my fridge being the main support and uses 6"X6", giving me a void of just over 5". I ran a duct from inside the cabinet above the fridge into the wall behind the refrigerator. I then installed this unit in the cabinet then using a hole saw cut a hole in the top of the cabinet and attached the carbon filter to it. So it pulls air in through the filter above the cabinet then blows the filtered out behind the fridge and out the toe kick on the bottom.The controls for this unit monitor the temperature of the compressor and turn it on or off accordingly. You can also turn it on or off manually and it has 10 speeds. The lower speeds are pretty quiet and you have to listen for it to tell it is on.Using filtered air should keep dust from building up behind the fridge and a second bonus is when frying or burning something in the kitchen turning the fan up quickly removes the smoke and odors from the air.The quality of the blower, control unit, and filter is excellent and I definitely highly recommend it.
