When I moved into my apartment 8 years ago, I considered getting a doorbell camera, but everything was either too expensive or required complicated wiring and drilling. Plus, I worried about theft. Instead, I opted for some Wyze cams to monitor the inside and through the window, and that worked well enough for me. I already owned some Blink mini cameras that could function as a chime, so I just needed a simple, secure way to mount the doorbell. I remembered seeing no-drill mounts before, so I did some research and found several options. Among all the products I explored, this one stood out as the best choice. It wasn't made entirely of metal, avoiding any potential connectivity issues, and its robust plastic construction seemed resilient enough to withstand theft attempts (based on other reviewers' photos). Most importantly, it required no heavy lifting on my part and wouldn't leave any damage when it was time to move out.Once it arrived, I quickly installed my Blink doorbell at my front door, and it's been working perfectly. Previously, I could only see people approaching my door through a camera I had set up inside, which didn't give me a clear view of anyone standing right at the door. Now, I have a great, close-up view of anyone at my entrance. The no-drill mount is incredibly convenient, allowing me to easily adjust the height if needed and take it with me when I eventually move. Plus, it's extremely secure—this doorbell cam isn't going anywhere unless I decide to remove it.In summary, this affordable and straightforward solution for mounting a doorbell is perfect for renters. 5 stars. My apartment has a very much recessed door so the jam blocks some part of the video. So if someone was breach and clearing your house I guess he could if the hugged the wall close 😂 maybe if the arm was longer and reached into the middle of the door it could be better.For houses and stuff this is greatAnd to answer anyones question, YES this does fit the Ring Pro model doorbell (newer 2024+) one.BUT do yourself a favor and make a foam lining in some parts of the interior of the unit to ensure your camera doesn’t rattle around when you open the door. Use a utility knife and the foam that comes with this unit. Great product

Works perfectly, with ease of installation!

Where has this been all my life?!?I had no idea these existed, and I previously put my Ring Camera on with command type Velcro. Thankfully it wasn’t stolen! But we moved into a place with way more people and this item was recommended. Easy to setup, no hardware to attach to anything, and no way someone could steal our upgraded Ring camera. So glad I found it!

Works great

It works well. Easy to install. It is durable and made out of metal. The design (part that holds the door) is too big, but the tighten door screw fixes that so it stays in place. It seems secure. The downside is mine had broken parts and the foam didn't fit inside with the camera in there. I had to cut up the foam parts to make it fit to secure the camera. Seems like it needs foam parts at bottom of camera to keep it secure (keep it from moving in the box (slanted)). The broken part was the piece that attaches to the tighten screw to secure the door. It wouldn't screw on to the screw piece. (Followed directions, it would just fall off instead of tighten.) This box for ring camera is convenient and works. I highly recommend it especially if you need to manually recharge the ring camera instead of uninstalling the camera from the mount the camera comes with.
