Q: How do I change the hands? We were unable to get the black hands off.

Hi. You must turn the little dial on the back which will move the hands on the front. That's what has worked for me. Hope this helps you.

Q: What is the actual weight of the 60cm clock? The 60cm clock is 10 kilograms = 22 pounds, but the 40cm clock is only 1.9 pounds? Something seems off.

I didn't actually weigh it, by my clock is super light-might be a difference in metal thickness/type used for the clock?

I used regular AA or AAA batteries (Energizer).

Q: Can it be used outdoors

Probably not, it's not a high-end type of clock and the clock size I ordered was 40cm and it wasn't close to the size on the picture. Hope this helps.
