Nice straps, hold up over time
I bought four of these last May for my hot shot business. I've used them most days, multiple times a day since and they've held up great. They're my go to straps for the majority of the securement I need.Strapping straight over freight is mainly what I use them for. But if I have to pull at an angle, I don't like them. Because of their design, a lot of stress is wedged up into the steel corners of the flat hooks where the straps attach.J straps are much better at distributing the stresses of angled pressure, so I use J hooks for those cases.I will buy them again.

Worked Perfect
It's holding up part of a tree that was partially destroyed, along with the rest of central FL after Hurricane Milton.

Decent strap
I needed a second strap. I ordered through Amazon because I thought HF was more money. Turns out I was viewing the wrong width strap. Price is similar.

Strong Straps - Have Flanges Instead of Hooks
I used these to tie down our 8x10 metal shed in our back yard during hurricane Milton. We were hit with 80 to 110 mph wind gusts. These helped protect our shed and kept it in place. Unfortunately the stakes I used were not up for the challenge and did partially pull out of the ground. To be fair the screw in dog stakes were the only ones I could get in time for the storm. I now have 36" stakes made for this job screwed into the ground next to the shed for the next storm. The only thing I messed up was that these straps don't have hooks, the have a wide flange , fortunately they do have a 1/4" hole near the edge of the flange that I was able to put a snap caribarner thru, so they were able to connect to the stakes. This is why I only gave them 4 stars since they didn't really describe this well.

Works To Manual Tilt My Heavy Outboard Engine.
I have a boat with an 88hp manual tilt, heavy Evinrude outboard engine, that was too difficult to tilt. When I saw the wide J ends on this heavy duty ratchet tie down, I knew this would help me tilt the engine. One clip attaches to the engine cover rear hand grip, and the other clip attaches to a fixed anchor point, and the extra long ratchet handle, easily ratchets and pulls the engine to tilt, with little effort. They sell tilt assist handles for about $75 and up, but can only handle up to 40hp engines. At $12 dollars, this is such a bargain, and works great as a heavy duty, come along pull ratchet.
