Teaching my boy to weld and needed a second pair of gloves. These were more affordable than picking up some name brand ones from our welding supply shop so I grabbed them. They are nice and thick and seem well made. They are a little bigger than I thought they would be as far as fit but my son's hands are bigger and they fit him perfect so I guess he can have the new gloves and I'll keep using my old ones. As far as function and protection, they perform exactly as I would expect any decent pair of welding gloves to.

Now that I'm doing much more out of position stick welding, and much longer welds, I appreciate having these gloves. Great heat protection (as long as I'm being responsible) and my sweaty hands don't yank out the lining when I take them off. The only thing is I have big bear paw hands and need another size up from XL, but once these broke in, they were good to go--even though it takes a while to wiggle into them. They are worth it, though.

These were for my grandson and he is very pleased with them. Wears them when he is doing welding.

Have not have them long, so I have to wait and see how they hold up, but they look and feel very well made

Great gloves around hot areas. Use them for grilling, smoking meat, wood burning pizza oven, splitting wood, etc

They are more flexible than a heavy welding glove but did just fine for welding an exhaust up yesterday.I will update this review when this pair finally is burnt out and no longer useful

Bought this for a tree cutting job I do on the weekends. I pull rope so heavy duty leather gloves are a necessity. These were perfect for the job and are holding up pretty nicely. Highly recommend.
