Moves Data Easily Between Different Devices
I have bought many of these. I have devices with both B&C so it is great that I don't have to find the adapter to use when moving data from one to another. I haven't had one fail yet. I would rather pay a bit more for a brand that has been dependable for me. The speed seems to be more dependent on the device. My old MacBook from 2013 takes a lot longer to upload than using the 2022 one. I find the

Worked very well
As soon as I received the flash drive I unpacked it and hooked it right to my wife's phone the main reason I purchased, she had 51g's of just video and 30g's of photo's on her phone and it was dragging so slow it wouldn't send or receive texts messages.. This drive moved her photos over in less than 10 minutes which I thought was pretty fast for that many pic's and the video's took close to 30 minutes to transfer, still a decent speed for these large files.. The flash drive did get hot moving at those speeds keep that in mind. But it performed very well and very satisfying I was able to wipe the phone right after to get her phone back to operating like it was supposed to.. It might take you a few minutes finding how to setup the transfer, then stand back and let it do it's thing! I would buy again..

Certainly works with iPad after a simple reformat
Good product. Just writing this because I saw many reviews stating how the flash drive does not work with iPads/iPhones. One needs to reformat the drive to exFAT from the default FAT32 (which it becomes on the first plug-in on the device). It’s a two minute job and then it’s 256 gbs of storage is all ready to use with iPad. Cheers!!

seems pretty fast.. but
fast enough for laptop use in transferring files and photos . I am not using this for massive back up, just for collecting, for safe keeping and quick access from one source to another. It came with a file manager called Zone, with cure little squirrel logo, however, to use it with cell phone and pc, you have to agree to signing away all of your rights (seemingly), with their promise to guard your privacy??? I believe some dictators from past history made those kinds of promises -- not that I have anything to hide, just saying. Allow this, allow that, turn over everything, so it seems, to this Scandisk app, enabling it to send you emails with offers and to collect any and all information is requests. FREE? Like that old saying, " Ain't nothing free in this world, honey." Because of that, I formatted the Scandisk, and what did I get? 232GBThe Scandisk Zone file manager is gone. Yes, you can use the storage on the drive for copy and paste, or drag and drop -- perfect for me. But what happened to the missing GB -- supposed to be a 256GB drive and before formatting is measured out to 232GB, okay, so I do and exFat format, and the Zone app is gone and the drive, tested by Bitdefender is clean, now tests out at 232 GB available, still. WHERE did the other 24GB go? 24 GB? I have several older flash drive with that much memory and those drives, for that much memory, cost me nearly as much as this drive -- where is the money? I mean, where is the missing 24 GB of memory, that is, storage???? I would send it back, but the danged little thing is just that, nice and small, and not interfering or blocking other inputs, and the ingenious design, sliding from C to USB is so handy. Still, I feel a bit robbed, and was fooled into thinking the Zone App would be something of value. My honest review, hoping for more, got less, semi-satisfied. It will work for my limited demands, but is you are planning on this for a big file back up system? I already have an external and a cloud. This is just for quick movement without having to drag out cables and setting up, just a plug and play from one device to another, or an occasional backup file or two. I know, more than you wanted, or need to know -- which part though? Hope this is helpful in your selection.

After seven years still go strong
Having both USB A and USB C ports, and in such a small size, for me has made this my go-to flash drive. Highly recommend.

Excellent drive
This drive worked great. It was very easy to use and transfered about 500 photos in less than a minute. It's a keeper.

Flexible Connectivity.
I like the fact you have two different styles of USB connectivity, it works well when sharing with others.
