Do they also take 14500 battery? I used 14500 battery in another similar kind and it ran with no issues.

I run standard alkaline AA batteries in all of mine as specified which put out 1.5 volts. A 14500 battery puts out 3.7 volts so I wouldn't want to try it.

do these come with the wrist lanyard?

they do not have wrist lanyard. focus able beam is helpful. would like the clip turned 180 degree so it would clip to hat brim
