Metal Plates!! This is just what I was looking for! Absolutely perfect. I have a magnetic car mount for my cellphone and it came with 1 small and 1 large metal sticky plates. I stuck the small plate to my phone case and my hubby wanted one for his too. So I didn't have any plates left to use on other items. I found these metal plates and it was exactly what I needed. These plates are nicely made. They are thin so they don't add extra weight to the phone, tablet, whatever you use it for. In fact, you hardly notice it's there. The smaller circular metal plates are small enough for flip phones and the larger rectangular plates will stick nicely to smartphones and tablets. THESE PLATES ARE NOT MAGNETIC. They were meant to stick TO your magnetic mounts. And I like that better than worrying about sticking magnets to my devices although it has been stated that most smartphones and tablets are not affected by the magnets. These metal plates have nothing to do with how well your device is held to the magnetic mounting fixture, it is all dependent to how strong your magnetic mount is. Now as for size of the plate, you don't want one that is so big it won't fit on your phone nor so small you have to play hide and seek with the magnet to lock it on. The smaller round plates work just fine and are the perfect size for cellphones. I used the small round one on my iPhone 5s even though the larger one would have worked just as well. The larger one will stick to my iPad and be better for that one anyway. I wouldn't want a larger plate on my iPad. Now if you are concerned about the size on your tablet, just put the plate in the center where it will best support the weight all around it. It will do the job. I've included photos to show the sizes. Again, love the thinness of these plates. Fantastic job. These are the plates I'd buy again if I need more.

These metal plates that you stick or place on the back of your device or cases, are far more convenient that bulky alternatives that also stand out. It's so easy to just set and go on a magnetic mount. This package gives you lots for spares, sharing or using on anything else that doesn't have to be an electronic. Just keep in mind, if you wireless charge and you stick the metal plate in the middle of your QI charging spot, it will block the charging since it can't charge through metal. So what you can do is stick the plate on the very bottom of the phone away from the middle wireless charging spot. I can wirelessly charge and still have the plate to quickly mount with no issues

What can I say about this 8-pack Metallic Magnetic Adhesive Plates? Well, for one, they are metallic. Steel, I'm pretty sure. Which probably explains why they stick to magnets. Also, they're adhesive, which explains why they stick to the outside of my phone's case. There were exactly 8 of them, which isn't as good as nine, but is better than seven. And finally, they're plates. Really small plates, but I've found them to be the perfect size for serving guests a single cracker or a piece of gum. The round ones might be a little too small, but I put the rectangular one on the back of a Galaxy S7 and it holds perfectly.These work, I like that they don't have any logo or writing on them, and they don't have that little hole in the top that some of the other plates have.These are not magnets. They are magnetic in that a magnet will stick to them. Now that I think about it, it's pretty weird that we don't have different words to describe materials that act like magnets versus materials that are attracted to magnets. Maybe magnetic versus magnetical, or something like that. 5 stars for the plates. 3 stars for the English language.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered these since I have a number of cases and mounts in each of our cars that my wife and I share. Unfortunately one of the large plates (the ones I use the most) was missing the adhesive. This was disappointing, and I'd use my own but the paper thin, strong adhesive they use isn't easy to find. I love the magnet mount system since it is much less obtrusive than a normal "squeeze" mount and allows me to use it on my GPS and all of the phone cases that my wife and I use, but without the adhesive, I have a useless metal plate.EDIT: Pop-Tech has graciously offered to fix the issue by sending additional plates. They were extremely responsive and I am 100% satisfied.

I got these about a year ago. I've had a few devices and these things do NOT come off without bending. so I just leave them on the devices, since they're thin and don't get in the way of the phone case. My recent phone; i've had for a year and I slapped one of these on the back of it. It's still there, despite being dropped, submerged, it even slid across concrete for like 200 feet (don't ask). The phone is a 30 dollars at walmart and it's been dropped several times in pools of water. Meaning the adhesion does not come off, regardless of what you stick it to. A lot of them came in the package so I'll likely be set for a while.

I cannot use a pop socket because I have nowhere convenient for the holder in my car. So I bought a magnetic holder that fits my vent. BUT I miss my pop socket. I still had two pop sockets so I bought these, switched out the round pop socket piece for this metal one and I have the best of both worlds.

Arrived nicely packaged in a heavy-weight, resealable plastic sleeve; good for storing unused plates. The plates themselves are well finished and thinner than the ones that came with my pricey mount. However, they work just as well and don't add as much bulk/weight. Matching clear plastic stickers are a nice touch for devices that might be damaged by the unfinished plate edges. I do not use the stickers or sticky tape as my phone case holds the metal plate firmly in place. Overall quite happy with purchase.Edit: Pop-Tech sent a brief email with reminders on package contents and helpful tips shortly after the product arrived. There was no mention of a writing a review as so many sellers request. Refreshing!

I no longer have the magnet that came with the Naztech holder, so I ordered these as replacement magnets, and they are working great thus far.
