My husband turned down the temp and they were fine..
You do get 3 packs, but there are 2 planks in each pack... so you really get 6They are thin and almost caught fire on the grill. My husband turned down the temp and they were fine...When done, we had to spray the planks with water, to make sure they didn't spark a fire.
