Works great bolted right on craftsman 800 tiller

Perfect replacement
I had to replace the carburator on my Chipper/Shredder engine. The hardest part was figuring our which carburator I needed. I received this carburator, unbolted the old one, replaced all of the gas hoses and bolted the new carburator back onto the engine. One pull and it started right up. Runs great!!!

Perfect fit
Carburetor was delivered on time and only took minutes to install. I probably fiddled with old carburetor for two hours before I checked Amazon for a new one and boy was I surprised at the price and purchase was a no trainer and best part was it started first pull and ran like new !!!

Works well
Bolted right up, only issue is that the choke lever wasn't long enough to fit over the air filter housing. So had to get an extension for that . Otherwise it does the job.

Exactly the same as what was on the engine
Swapping the old carb for the new one took about ten minutes. It was very easy to do. The new carb is exactly like the original all the way down to the plastic fuel line nipple that feeds gas into the carb. This plastic nipple is what was cracked on the old carb and I suspect it will crack again at some point on the new one, but for the price of a replacement (very inexpensive) I can easily buy another carb ten years from now (that's how long the original lasted) After installing the new carb it only took one pull to start the engine. If you have a leaky carb or the float or butterfly is sticking I wouldn't bother wit a rebuild kit. I'd just go ahead and get this one.
