I needed a door hanging for a small ensuite bathroom. The original door could not be opened into the bathroom because of some less than brilliant floor planning, so it was installed to swing out into the room which was an awkwardly close distance to the bed. Installing a pocket door would have been too expensive and troublesome, this works perfectly and is very affordable. The fabric is sheer enough to see through a bit with the light on behind it, but for an ensuite bathroom it's not a big deal. It has clean lines, and the fabric feels like good quality, it's soft to walk through, not stiff and burlap like other's i'd looked at. It allows for airflow between rooms, and I no longer have to look at my toilet when reading in bed.

Happy and very satisfied with the all-cotton Noren with the perfect cotton weight, it wasn’t too thick and just the right length and thickness. In the past, we had noren that were of very thick or synthetic material that made the room too hot—used as a room separator for the kitchen doorway. The simple and clean design on the indigo colored fabric makes the decor calming and a perfect fit with the surrounding area. Living in a warmer climate, this noren provides room separation without making the interior space too stifling. Also, wanted to get all natural fiber for the interior space to reduce pollution due to synthetic microfibers.

We used this in a doorway leading from the main kitchen area to a cluttered pantry and spice rack. Because it's split, it's perfect for coming and going with no fussing with moving the curtain aside. The weight is perfect in that it isn't heavy to have to move through, but also creates a solid layer of color. It's longer than other noren curtains too, by about 7 inches, which is a plus if you're trying to hide clutter and not just dividing a hallway. It hangs straight and clean with no ironing and the split does not show if hung properly. We used a cheap, thin expandable rod -- no need for anything heavy duty. Just perfect!

I got this for my teenage son after he busted down his bedroom door in a teenage rage of angst (note: he's not usually prone to violence, but life can be hard). His room is in the basement and his odd door size means the replacement much more expensive than any of us were willing to accept. But also, as a young adult, dude needs some privacy, and this door curtain is fitting the bill. The good news is the it was super easy to install, fits perfectly, and looks great! For us, I do wish it were a little heavier and less sheer for a little more privacy for him.

We're using this as a 'door' for our master bath, and it works perfectly. It's thick enough to provide some light blocking and privacy without blocking all of the natural light from the window. The material is smooth and neatly woven, and it looks so nice. It appears more expensive than it was. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This doorway has a 30” opening and the 33” curtain has just enough leeway to close almost perfectly. Without excess fabric and a simple woven pattern, it doesn’t command much attention but is very attractive. A bit of string stitched on will tie it out of the way. I bought the Rod Desyne Oval Spring Tension Rod 22"-36", Black, 22-36" to hang it on and it worked perfectly. These are well made and very attractive. The fabric quality is quite good and has a soft texture. The colour is consistent and looks very nice - a beautiful shade of blue. Out of the box, the fabric was folded and had a few light creases which disappeared shortly after the noren was hung. I am using these outdoors to provide shade for an entrance patio with large windows and exposure to strong sunlight - they have been doing a great job for about a month and show no signs of fading or fraying. I do ultimately expect they will fade due to UV but that should still be attractive.
