First, I need to say READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Particularly about swishing the tail end around in the water before using them. The subs use tiny little thrusters in housings that are small enough to trap air in rendering them useless, hense the swishing part to get the air out. Despite the tiny size of the thrusters, they're surprisingly responsive. Just remember that these are subs, not speed boats. I was surprised that these use actual, proportional ballast to control their bouyency (surfacing and diving mechanic) instead of a thruster like most others, this allows you to surface or dive in place and also trim the sub to stay at a desired depth.All in all these are amazingly fun especially for the price. They're small enough for tub fun but maneuverable enough for pools and small ponds as long as the water is clear. They also use an auto surface feature if they don't get any input or lose signal for more than 10 seconds which is a life saver. Highly recommend!

Does not turn left or right. Submarine does not receive signal under water. When sending back, you pay shipping all the way to China. Over $100.00 to send back. I just threw it in the garbage... Amazon does not police their sellers...

Great toy for kids. Works under water, easy to charge, great bath toy and for the cost it's awesome 👌

I gifted this to my friend for her to use in her 40 gallon fish tank! She loved it and put it to use right away, terrorizing her fish with it!! I don’t recommend terrorizing your fish but it’s good to remind your fish of their surroundings

Water built up in the remote after 2x using now the sub goes bonkers

I use it to annoy my Gar. Worked great before it was bit on the propeller section. Just dont try using it anywhere with a current.

It worked for about 3 minutes after the initial charge. Now it won’t charge at all.

Very cool toy and can be educational. Smaller than expected but works better than expected. My daughter loves it so automatic 5 stars. The control placement could be better but it doesn't ruin the fun. I'm pretty sure it could be sold cheaper without sacrificing quality but guess you can always for it to go on sale.
