Will this alarm your phone of low battery voltage? With in Bluetooth range.

No, you can only configure that alarm on the smart shunt. I use the shunt for high voltage alarms primarily.

I don't see any way to rename the devices. I do not have other Victron products or their network system, just the item listed here and the iphone app.

Go into the app, click on the Smart Battery Sense you would like to name change, click on the gear symbol in the right corner, click on the three dots in the right corner, click on "product info", change the name.

If i already have the victron bmv-712 battery monitor, will this add any benefit? can the battery monitor talk to the victron mppt solar charger?

If you already have the optional temperature sensor hooked up to your 712, this device will not add any functionality for you. Can (1) be used on (3) batteries in parallel?

I have 7 x 12V100AH LFP in parallel via a busbar, and it works fine, just pick any battery on the bar. I do find I have to power-cycle every 8 to 9 months to correct a low read condition (bank is 13.26V, sensor reports 13.05V) Sensor returns to accurate reporting with reboot, but it has not been completely maintenance free.
