Q: Can you melt/microwave this to fit into a mug snugly?

Tallow or triple milled soaps should not be melted. You will destroy the soap's properties or breakdown the soap into a mess. The best way to transfer it to a mug is to grate the soap then press the flakes into the mug you want.

Q: What is the size of the actual puck?

The puck is a little over 3" in diameter, and just shy of 1" thick, weighing in at 4.4 oz.After 5 months of daily use, I have worn a hole through the center and am ordering a couple more.

Q: How large is this soap?

It is quite large...lasts forever...fits nicely in a shaving mug.
