Works on stubborn toilet clog
Had a pesky toilet clog that wouldn't go away until I took this auger to it. It's quite heavy and large but I guess that's needed for the large storage capacity . Very easy to use especially with a drill. The wire itself is extremely durable and the model has a very basic but clean design. Although it's heavy it seems to be a requirement for such a sturdy auger.

It works BUT Read the Manual...No Seriously...Read it.
It worked to unclog a kitchen drain. However, potential buyers should be aware of 2 things: (1) The fact that it is pictured with a drill attachment does NOT mean that the cable extends itself automatically. The cable must be manually shoved down the pipe and THEN you can turn the locking screw and use the drill to rotate the cable that you extended manually. The rotation is controlled by the drill or hand crank, but the extending and retracting the cable is done manually. (2) In the product guide it warns you that the cable is NOT connected internally to the drum so it is possible to extend the cable too far and have it detach from the drum and drop down in the pipe. So, you have to be careful not to extend the cable so far that it comes out of the drum. I didn't have any problem with the cable detaching because I actually read the product guide before using it, but someone who skips reading the guide might end up surprised by the fact that the cable can come all of the way out of the drum if you aren't paying attention.

The tool works very well.
This tool works very well after I removed a lot of trapped hair and then I put a lot of hot water and now I no longer have the problem of the water getting trapped in the tub on my feet.

5 stars are not enough
I’m a single woman who bought my first home a couple of years ago. I had a clogged drain and was very tempted to call a plumber but thought I’d see if I could fix it. ChatGPT said I needed an auger, and this one had good reviews, so I thought I’d give it a go. IT WORKS. Easy to use. I don’t have a drill and it was still very easy to use and powerfully effective.Pair with Lizzo’s “Water Me” and Destiny’s Child “Independent Women” for your celebratory dance afterwards. I am my inspiration! lol

Useful but not easy to operate
I used it to remove the clog successfully. But it requires two people to operate it. It requires one person to push it all the way in while the other one is rotation the knob.

Akward but usable with patience
Kitchen sick had backed up. The plunger wasn't helping so I bought this auger. Some reviews were negative and I do see why. The auger body feels cheap and is awkward to hold and use with the drill while also pushing more into the pipe. But with a lot of frustration and will power, I did get the clog out.
