I purchased this variable speed controller in august and it worked just fine until yesterday and then the variable part stopped working Why?

I've had mine just a few months. It's in the weather and still working. As for an issue try the small glass fuse in the top of it. They can be found at any Auto parts store.

The fuse will be a 15 amp fuse. Make sure the fuse you buy matches the one you pull out of the unit. Thank you!

This timer does not work as recommended for pond pump motors as well. We just finished project and found it won't work. Would you take return?

I also found that the control did not work for my fountain, but I was too lazy to return it.

Does the variable controller work well with 3000gph asynchronous pump? Have been told not really useful for ones < 4000gph as too little sensitivity.

It didn't even work with a 5500 pump. Big waste of money. I would not buy again. I am very disappointed with product, absolutely worthless
