Will it work for license plate on a bumper on the front?

The backing on the strips is extremely adhesive and the interlocking side is very strong. I think these would work fine for a front license plate application and would probably withstand wet weather and car washes. That said, I'm pretty sure they were designed for inside use

will this tape stick to the car dash? And does it leave any residue when we take it off the dash?

Using this Taptic to secure ez-pass on windshield, but has many other uses. I never had tape on any surface leave any residue.... tape hold on very strongly, and care must be taken as not to damage the surface.
