What an AMMAZZZZING Company support for this life saving product !!!!!
As a veteran health care professional , I feel compelled to write this review . After reading and reviewing products very thoroughly, I chose this equipment to respond to my needs post retinal surgery which would require me to keep my face in one position- face down.First , the equipment came on time and properly boxed and the product is as described - it is well conceived and well made.My challenge - I know I am not the most savvy when it comes to adjusting equipment and in this case, this equipment needed adjusting to my height when I am sitting at a table etc. I phoned the telephone number helpline and spoke to Benjamin who has decades of experience with this type of equipment and asked for his assistance. Benjamin was so professional. He is so knowledgeable, helpful, patient and gracious - I can not say enough. What I was having difficulty understanding - he made it so easy peasy for me. There are handles - that easily lock the headrest into place.I know this equipment will be uber helpful to my recovery . I especially want to thank Benjamin who provided OUTSTANDING service. This made all the difference !!!!

This system was wonderful for my face down period after vitrectomy surgery
This is a great product to have if you need to be face down after eye surgery. They wanted me face down on the ride home from the hospital. I was able to hold this system in my lap and be face down. Then when we got home, we set it up on the bed so that I could lie down. The next day I was able to use it sitting up. I only had to be face down for 2 days but I'm glad I had this product. It's handy and configurable for whatever you need. I put a coffee table next to the bed and set the device on it. I put pillows on the table so that I had a place to rest my arms and put my supplies (chargers, kleenex, etc) on. Doing it this way I didn't need to reconfigure the product for sitting up. I could just carry it back and forth, which was very convenient. The product came with a list of helpful information too. It allowed me to think ahead and get prepared before my surgery. The folks at this company seem really nice and caring. If you have to be face down, I'd recommend this.

Works best on table top for me
This has been great to use as it allows my head and neck to rest as I look face down. I found it works best for me on a table top, trying it in my lap was too uncomfortable - even with pillows to prop it up. I agree with the review that it is challenging to use this with glasses. Another challenge is the crossbar for the headrest - it is always around my chin so I wrapped a hand towel around it. The headrest can move up and down and tilts but does not move front/back - which would address the crossbar issue for me. Using the mirror is challenging but I did get it to work. Overall, this has allowed me to get through these days being far more comfortable than just keeping my head down on its own or propping my head with my hands/arms - which is very tiring and makes my neck/shoulders very sore.

Will help me get through 5 days of face down
Luckily I purchased 3 weeks before surgery. It was challenging to adjust to my body and table and chair. If you are a woman with a large chest it is impossible to use the chest cushion. The head cushion is very soft but after a while the vinyl becomes irritating so I fashioned a shearling cover for it. Not useable with my mattress. With that said, I don't think anything will be totally comfortable for 5 days in this position.

Helped a lot following vitrectomy
Bought this for my wife following her victrectomy ad she needed to keep her head down for 4 days. This device worked well for her. It also worked well to help buckle her in the car on the ride home as well as her follow-up appointment the following day. It’s a bit expensive … but well worth the cost!

Worth the $ for retina surgery recovery
My husband had retina surgery and had to remain face down for 5 days. This item saved his sanity and his back. He was able to pass the time looking at his phone and watching TV. He says he doesn’t know how he would have gotten through it without this setup.Really high quality item. Comfortable to use. Easy to set up with clear instructions.Would 100% recommend for anyone who is required to remain face down after surgery.

Don’t buy this !
One star , I returned because it’s uncomfortable ( impossible actually) it certainly won’t work between mattress and box spring. It’s difficult enough to have to go through the surgery and this is torture!

Made such a great difference after vitrectomy.
Able to sit up and read or watch television (using mirror that came with it) after eye surgery that required head down for several days. Made life so much bearable with this product.
