Very sharp! I've used it for a few days now and honestly love the feel, weight and performance of this knife. The blade is beautiful. It's tarnished quicker than I expected, but after some research that seems to be common with carbon steel. I've only owned and used stainless up until now. I read carbon tends to be tougher though and hold up longer, so we'll see.Packaging could have been a bit more professional, arrived in un-marked cardboard box with knife inside in a plastic slip with some thin bubble wrap around it. The nice thing though was it was oiled very well inside the plastic. Overall I am very happy with my purchase!
