Paint comes off immediately.
I've had painted lug nuts before that I've purchased directly from a store but can't remember the brand name. These are definitely not quality. Paint flakes off immediately. I put one lug nut on with a brand new socket with the proper bit and torqued it to spec and the lug nut shows silver right through the gold afterwards. What's the point in having them painted if the paint comes off immediately upon first use? The box says surface thickening, long-lasting, high quality steel and professional testing. You can tell just by looking at them that they are none of those things. Immediately returning.
