Very good product
Put them under my condensing unit so the drain holes could function better. Sturdy, no wobble.

Vibration dampening and noise reduction
This made a huge difference for me in the amount of noise generated by my basement heater hung on the basement ceiling. I put the pads in between the heater and the ceiling and it worked great!

Work well
These are very effective but smell horrible. The smell still hasn’t gone and I’ve had them for a few months.

Quiets portable ACs
We have hardwood floors throughout the house so portable AC units vibrate loudly. Popped these under the portable AC in my bedroom: peace at last!I let them air out for a day before using them and the rubber smell was gone after that.

Perfect to dampen the vibration of a mini split . Can be cut thinner to help with the leveling.

Smelly: FIRST soak in Dawn and baking soda
They came fast but like many people I bought them to go under a treadmill that’s inside but they had a really REALLY bad rubbery smell . I’m on my first day soaking them in some Dawn dishwashing liquid(hey if it cleans up ducks and birds from oil spills maybe it will work). So if the smell goes away after a couple of days I will review again I suggest people try that if you are keeping them because they’re very solid and sturdy probably better for outside use though.UPDATE:Day 3 : after soaking these and some DAWN Dishwashing detergent And cool water plus I added a lot of baking soda I would put like half a small box swish it around for about three days changing the water once a day they are definitely tolerable for the price you might find something else that didn’t smell like a rubber factory. But I put them under the treadmill in a very small second bedroom and you can’t smell them . I may add a Glade plug in but you really can’t smell them under the treadmill they work perfect very solid very thick-just definitely soak them first or keep soaking them until the smell is tolerable and put them out to air. It was recommended if you have carpeting under your treadmill that you definitely want to put something like this because you can damage the belt if it’s too close to your carpeting but you don’t need an extra pad just these.

Stops vibration
Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. These absolutely work to reduce vibration. All 4 pads were the same size and thickness. And they're not only useful for "heavy" equipment. I use them underneath 2 different floor fans to prevent vibration going into the floor. I also use them underneath my PC to dampen vibration and keep my computer desk from vibrating. Do they smell at first? Yes, but that goes away (unless you're sniffing them every day, which is kinda weird.)
