Pica Dry Automatic Marker, Dry

As a finish carpenter/remodeler for the last 11 years, this is the best pencil I have ever used. Just be careful which refills you buy. The water soluable ones wear faster and don't do well if exposed to excessive humidity.

Prob have 10 of these at a time. Great quality. Easy to use and cheap enough.

Use it during my construction projects and it doesn't leave my side. Super easy to use and always sharp. Reaches into harder to reach holes too. I got some extra leads for it and found some are very soft and break easily though (especially the colored yellow and red).

Thick lead that doesn't break. Built in sharpener. Pencil holder that won't fall out of my pocket. I love it. It's always in my pocket, so I never have to stop and look for it. If I did set it down, the neon green color makes it easy to spot. (I do wish they made other colors)

I like it so far. Used it to mark a variety of materials. No problem there. When I put the pencil back into its sheath, I tend to push down on the top of it. This has the unwanted effect of advancing the lead. Perhaps the manufacturer can add a locking feature to the top cap to prevent this

Ok, so this is pretty expensive for a pencil. But when you’re using one for tasks the majority of your day, you’ll appreciate the quality and ease of use of one of these. Definitely for someone who appreciates the higher quality and not lower priced tools. Sure, you can use a normal carpenter pencil and get the job done, but will it look and feel this good? Nope…

My husband runs a custom cabinet shop and loves this tool! The lead lasts a long time and is easy to see highly recommends this!
