Chicken of the Sea White Crab Meat, 6 Ounce Cans (Pack of 12), High in Calcium, Wild Caught Canned Crabmeat

Being a veteran Gulf Coast recreational crabber, I do miss the kind of "brackish water" taste of fresh caught and boiled crabs with this purchase. However, there is an obvious lump crab texture which goes well with the variety of crab dishes cooked by our family (au Gratin, West Indies salad, etoufee, patties, etc.). If you've never caught, boiled, and picked Crabmeat, this is really a bargain!

I would never ever buy this product again its such a rip off the meat is not lump at all minced meat to me it has no crab flavor at all dont waste your money on this product at all totally over priced never agaian

Useless product with no flavor, just tiny bits of crab grit. Maybe ok for soup. God only knows what is in this can. Perhaps my cats will eat it, but they are pretty picky.

I like this product it's got a good flavor to it I'd buy

We bought to make lump crab cakes with when my parents came to visit and although it says it’s lump I’d have to disagree.The flavor is okay but nothing like the store bought brand and there literally tiny lumps I suppose.I’m from Md originally and we’re known for Crabs and thought to give it a try and wasn’t the worst I’ve had but it lacks flavor which is weird.It states it’s lump crab meat .So I’m thinking to mix with the store lumb crabmeat next time because it tasted very bland.Price was great but this meat has no taste reall🦀 🦀 🦀

Taste& quality were okay but must watch out for shells. Bite easy otherwise you'll end up at dental office.I made scramble eggs, all the time checking for shells.Get with season shredded cooked Brussels sprouts or cabbage, scramble eggs & crab meat.Bid on expensive side, having to be on lookout for shells. Once in blue treat.May try another brand but for now,not buying anytime soon..taste a bit bland.

Used these in a gumbo and they worked perfectly. Not chunky per se, but they blend in real well with seafood based dishes
