have an 2086 5th wheel. i got it for the doors. it was work getting it to fit. however to day the slider part quit working as well and there was a lot of play in it. i couldnt get out the door. lucky i have another door. i got the key to work a bit and finally got the lock to work enough to unlock it. i cant lock it back for fear of not being able to open the door. "revision" vvvvvi took it out today and it looks fine. i guess the old 5th wheel shifted and the door dont quit match up as well as when i installed the lock. my 5th wheel has a metal door with wood filler, and i had to grind that out to fit it in the 1st.place.now it looks like i will have to grind some of the metal of the frame where the lock slides in. oh well~ just another day in the life..two days later jacked up the trailer, the door shifted, and it works fine..

We were changing out our doorknobs and deadbolts to accommodate a renovated kitchen and we came across these. I was a bit skeptical, given the low price, that the color would work and that they would prove sturdy. These fears were not well-founded. I ordered 3 of them and each was very easy to install--taking me about 15 minutes per door to change out 4 hinges, a deadbolt, and a door knob (all purchased from this same Amazon series). Moreover, I was impressed with the look and the feel of the deadbolts. The mechanisms moved smoothly and the finish did not seem prone to wearing away or chipping off.The one thing I'll add--simply because it's not a major concern nor something I know all that much about--is that I don't have a real basis by which to judge how secure these are. I've read on related reviews that the locks used here are very simple. If security is your primary concern (which is not unreasonable for a deadbolt...), you might want to do some further research and potentially look elsewhere. If, like me, you're trying to match other features of your home with a secure-feeling lock that's easy to install, look no further. This was a great purchase.

I bought this for my bedroom door, to provide some security until my roommates figure out how to actually lock the apartment door (two months and counting that they don't understand a basic concept...)I had originally bought a slightly cheaper Honeywell lock, but something went awry with the installation and the bolt would pull out of the door. I don't know if the lock was faulty, or if I messed it up, but I decided to buy something a little sturdier (really, something that the bolt was secured to the piece that drills into the door), and found this.The installation took about five minutes to swap out a same-size/shape deadbolt, and even getting the super long screws that attach through the door was super easy.I don't know if I would trust this to be secure enough for an entry door, but it works fine enough for an extra layer of security on an interior door.

This deadbolt installed very easy. Comes with a template, though I use a jig for cutting the holes. KW1 keyway. I also purchased a lever set and the finishes match. This is a good deal for the price. It's not a Baldwin but seems similar to a Kwikset build. I installed this on a balcony door so the door is already somewhat secured. The screws for the deadbolt are not very long. If I were to install this on a ground floor door, I would purchase a separate deadbolt strike with long screws that can go deep into the framing. Even if you add that on, you are still probably coming out ahead. The finish has a sheen to it, it's not a matte finish.

Lock Works but has a Poor Instruction Manual. It’s appears to be a screw less knob. There is a small hole on the knob to disassemble. Once you get it out you can take off the knob & plate. Need something needle like instead of a screwdriver.
