Followed the 4 steps for setup and still won’t copy from existing remote. Is there a trick to setting this up?

Is your existing one identical? Our original ones had white buttons and we had to reprogram the fob from VA to WV before using the instructions enclosed. We can only program 1 button but that’s good enough for us as we are only using for the gate. Not sure if that helps.

Hi, Yes, it is compatible - could you try this method: Stand within 2 metres of your electric gate ariel, then take an existing working Beninca remote and press and hold the two buttons on the front for 5 seconds until the LED blinks Press the button on the old remote which operates the gates just once Within 5 seconds, take the new transmitter and press the button you want to use just once Wait 30 seconds for the receiver to exit programming mode. Now try your new remote.

Likewise,however after a few tries and very carefully following the instructions and using the original programmed unit it worked

Really, don’t waste your time on this. You will waste hours searching for how it should work. Eventually you will realize they are simply garbage. Go elsewhere.

Got it to work

We have quite on old gate, had to convert the fob to old technology with foreign videos on the internet. I think if you are ordering an identical one to the one you have it will be easy. Delighted it works. I wouldn’t have the patience to work it out but glad my husband did.

Impossible to programme!

I bought 2 of these as extras. I managed to get 1 programmed after over an hour of endless button pressing following another reviewers instructions but have had no luck with the 2nd. I don't know why the seller can't give specific instructions that are correct.
