Are these microwave safe?

Bottles are made from plastic #2, known as High-density polyethylene (HDPE) which is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum. HDPE is hard, opaque and can withstand somewhat high temperatures. This plastic is considered safe and has low risk of leaching. In comparison to other types of plastics, no known health concerns were found while using HDPE. It is picked up by most recycling programs. Microwave-safe containers go through stringent FDA testing to ensure that, at temperatures reached in the microwave oven, the amount of chemicals that leach out of the plastic is no more than 100 to 1,000 times less than the amount shown to harm lab animals. Unlabeled plastic containers aren't necessarily unsafe for the microwave, however these bottles were NOT tested by FDA, so there's no way to tell if these containers can hold up to microwave heat. In order to protect your safety, so it's best NOT to use them in the microwave, despite they do not contain release harmful substances in normal and/or hot temperatures.

Do these come clean? Or, do I need to wash before adding liquid?

I'm not sure what you meant by this question exactly, but I washed mine first before I added anything to them. I used these to do a chocolate ganache drip on a cake, and they wouldn't come clean after that despite soaking them for a couple of days. I ended up having to throw them away. I wasn't satisfied that everything could be cleaned out of the tips either.

Can anyone tell me the inside diameter of the cap? I need the bottle to fit a special cap.
