Thin, brittle, bad fit, bad adhesive, bad packaging. Don't waist your time and money.
These are very thin and brittle. I had a set of weather tech ones on my last truck. I figured these would be the same but at a more reasonable price. I was dead wrong. The back window visors fit ok on my 07 Dodge Ram Mega cab, but one of them was cracked when in its package. The way they were packaged, one rubbed another scratching it up. The front ones don't quite perfectly match the contour of the windows and the tab in front that tucks into the mirror base is not shaped to create full rain coverage. When looking out the window I can see a small hole in the corner where light shines through because the flanged tab does not cover that area. They were easy enough to install though the provided 1"x2" wet wipes are not adequate for cleaning the surface that they stick to. I used the scrubbing pad and then a cloth with rubbing alcohol to clean the window channels. Followed by the provided wet wipes. Even with perfectly clean channels the Adhesive did not adhere on one of the front visors. I followed the instructions to a "T" keeping the windows up for at least 24 hours before rolling them down again. It's still summer time where I live and they should have bonded just fine. The result of the bad adhesive was that the front of the visor did not stay where it was supposed to and shattered the first time that I rolled the window back up. Maybe I got a bad set, but from my experience I would say that these are complete garbage. Very expensive garbage. I have considered buying another set of weather tech visors but if you are looking at these you probably already know how expensive they are. The weather tech ones were much higher quality. Thicker, flexible and had good adhesive.

Slightly disappointed
I have purchased a few AVS Ventshields over the years and was generally satisfied. This time, not so much.Either my build sheet is inaccurate, or the shields were labeled incorrectly, or there is a serious miscommunication somewhere. The rear shades I received are for a crew cab, not a mega cab.I saw in a review elsewhere that others had a similar problem. They decided to purchase Quad Cab/Supercab rears, in order to remedy the problem. I will probably do the same thing.Packaging was deplorable. The shrink wrap was knicked, and cut in several places,, and my shades have some small, but noticeable scratches. The shrink wrap also literally tore the adhesive tape off 6 inches of one front shield, and 80% of the "peel off backing," from the other one. This was after carefully cutting the shrink wrap close (but not contacting) to the shades. These are Inchannel units, so I just applied some similar double sided foam tape, and called it good. They are thick with the adhesive tape, so the windows struggle a little to completely close. The drivers side front shade has a minor warp or wave to it as well.I can't comment on the rears, because they do not fit my mega cab. They are about 4 inches too long. My VIN clearly depicts mega cab, but I also understand there lies a great deal of controversy around the subject of Super/Extended/Quad/Mega, and Crew Cab terminology, relative to sizement.I'm not very happy this time around, but I don't have the time, nor patience to seek a replacement that would probably result in incorrect fitment again anyway.

Worth it.
I see what people say when they have a slight warp to them. Nothing some summer heat can’t cure. They came in the same blue/yellow pack you’d find these in at an o’Riley’s or something similar so I definitely wasn’t worried about them.

Had to cut to fit
They wouldn't go in my window channel as it's supposed to. Also the adhesive is terrible. I added my own. Since it wouldn't do in the channel I had to cut the front edges. They still work but they look "hickish" to be frank... but they still do what they are designed for. Just wish they wouldve fit properly.

Dont buy look for other product
I have a 2008 mega cab 2500 6.7l the product fits nice but the front windows can not roll up cause the gaurd gets caught up and you have to physically push the rain gaurd out to roll the window up. Driver side cracked cause I tried rolling it up and the passenger side literally broke my window cracked it I'll try and upload a video and yes I installed correctly

Fits ok
Product fits perfect, but I noticed one of the guards was broken, but It’s in the very corner and it is barely able to be seen. Unpackaging them, all the tape was stuck to the plastic they were wrapped in, and it all came off unwrapping them. Had to use new 3M tape. So far they look good, but I’m waiting for them to set before I try the windows. Would give it more stars if they didn’t come broken

It basically looked like someone went out to their truck
I would seriously not give it 1 star, except that it made me pick one. Product was not in original packaging, and the adhesive tape that was attached to visor was exposed. It basically looked like someone went out to their truck, took these off, then truck them in a box for shipping. I'm not happy at all, and have ordered many things from Amazon. Surely this can't be their intention. I have taken pics as well, and have attached them below. One visor is broken, and the tape was basically useless since it was exposed. There is also discoloration. I will not be sending these back, as it's not worth my time to repackage and take to ups :(

Ventshade is durable, prvides shade, is a weather dam and looks good!
The title of my review mainly says it all. Venshade is a durable product and built tough. They have a limited lifetime warranty and provides a nice clean look as well as shade from the sun, a wind barrier, and water deflector. I do not advertise that smoking is good; but if you are a smoker it gives you a great way to vent your vehicle while driving in the elements, reduces wind noise, and that annoying water drip. If you just enjoy the fresh air it still allows you to do just that and you can keep your windows partially cracked without the worry of someone looking in and or trying to unlock your doors with a coat hanger. I have to reconmed that if you do this, that you at least arm your car alarm before walking away. Go with DEI or Directed. They are great products that to hve a limited lifetime warranty on their brain. Lol.

Nice fitment and durability
Easy shipping, Replaced old broken `over window' shades. I installed as directed on my 2008 Dodge Mega Cab. These mounted just inside the window frame making for a smoother profile than the old ones. They are thinner; but I don't believe they would fit in with the window if they were thick. They have lasted well through the winter, I like how they tucked in and secured to the Truck. Looking great!

Look really good
These look really good on the mega cabs but they did make the top corner of my mirror stick out a tiny bit with the visor behind it and a tiny gap in the corner by the mirror. And wish they came darker but overally really happy with them
