Fed up with cheap torches that crack, break and don't work I decided to go for quality. Thank you to other reviewers who helped me make a decision. This is a great torch. I don't ask that much of it but the beam goes from looking at a pea to looking at the garage door and the brightness is really good. Love the reassuring good quality build and the way it will easily fit into the handbag if I am out in the evening or very early winter mornings. I bought another smaller version to have permanently in my handbag. I would buy this one again and recommend it to anyone

I have many of these. As a technician I'm often in dark locations, it's great to have big work lights but sometimes you need something small and powerful. Theses are dotted all around my van, car, and home as well as three different tool bags. This pair are more than a great price, their also a great product 👍

Very bright indeed (and all from a single LED cell!). Torch is very compact and it appears to be robustly and accurately made. The only reservation is that with such a high level of brightness, and given the tininess of the batteries (uses 3 times AAA), it seems possible that batteries may not last long before needing to be recharged: however, that remains to be seen.

It is a little heavy for a small torch but great in every other department.

My boyfriend is a train dispatcher for LNER, and uses this in both daylight and in the dark.I bought this for him as the brightness and projected distance was just what he needed for his job.He can stand at the rear of an LNER Azuma train (260 meters long), and even during daylight, the driver can see the light flashing him. This is a seriously powerful torch, and performs extremely well.

Very good light quality even with just ordinary batteries (rather than re-chargeable). Very sturdy and well made. Only just got it so can't comment on battery life. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Would recommend.

torch felt sturdy at first, then the twisting function began to catch and not work smoothly and eventually the lens/bulb of the torch just fell out. poor quality.intensity was initially good, but the battery life was not good so quickly the intensity fell as the batteries drained.there are better options out there for sure.

Torches are very good but 1 doesn't work as well as the other and keeps going through its sequences for no reason. But otherwise they are brilliant
