Unique color combination of satiny white petals surrounding a deep royal purple center. Amethyst In Snow is very complementary when paired with Amethyst Dream. Single, fringed blooms appear atop lance shaped leaves in the spring. Removing spent flower stalks after blooming will promote re-blooming. Patented. In this genus of some 800 species, there are dozens of fine plants that offer, like most members of the Daisy family, a combination of long bloom, easy disposition, and vivid colors. The Mountain Bluets (Centaurea montana) that we offer prefer full sun but tolerate partial shade. They bloom best if not allowed to dry out.
