I have been self dying my hair for many years now! This brand and color (dark ruby) are my ultimate favorite by far!!! It's super easy to apply, and takes no time at all! Use a little vaseline around your skin and hairline to prevent it from dying your skin. Your ready to apply to the roots first than, all over!!! Be sure to not make a mess as this will stain!!! Always rinse it with COLD water, and don't wash it every day to reduce fading! It does fade over time, but each stage is a beautiful color, and so different!! I get SO many compliments on the color!!! This has been my go to color for a few years now!!! Every time I think of changing colors, I get complimented on how beautiful the color is especially in the sunlight, a beautiful radiant red!!! And you can't beat the price!!! Give this beautiful color a try, it's a fun one!!!

I love this color,,,,, as soon as my dye starts to fade away,,,, I am going to dye it this color again..... This,, basically looks great on me and is so dark,,,, so dark that it looks brown/ cherry plum,,,,, it is intense and I've had it on for almost a month and the color is still there,,, even after shampooing every other day..... This is my new favorite color and is here to stay....... I love it....... It's a one of a kind color that no other hair dye companies make.......

Love how this turned out! My daughter has really been wanting some color in her hair, but it’s incredibly hard to find dyes that show up on darker hair without lightening. The reviews here looked promising, and I’m so happy with the results! Her hair indoors almost looks like a deep magenta & outdoors the red really shines! She’s thrilled.

The color is amazing - I have a medium brown natural color, and this dye comes out vibrant red every time. It fades after about 6 weeks for me, as I tend to wash my hair as little as possible without letting my hair get gross, and only using cold water/color protecting shampoo. I have noticed that the conditioning treatment that comes with the box has changed over the past year though, and is no longer the thick and creamy formula, which worked wonders after color. It's a lot thinner now, and doesn't give the same silky soft result for me.

Been using this brand for a long time. Works well on my hair, color stays in for awhile. Good for a box dye. Good for your money, without breaking the bank. My hair is still healthy even using this brand. I like this brand because it don't have a heavy bleach content/ammonia in it.

Love this color!! Very easy to use and doesn’t have a horrible smell!!! I use it just to put a few highlights in but it always comes out great! Definitely recommend!
