Purchased this key to teplace the original STI key i had for my 04 that some snatch decided to swipe along with the fob. Little does she know the ignition cylinder has been remove and all ignition operating has been converted to switches along with a hidden start button. So unless you know which switches to flip and what button to push all shes gonna b doing is opening the door and scratching her head. Stupid snatch.

Key came in and was cut to match my own. Looks, feels and works GREAT!

Works for 06/07 sti as long as your smart and get a stock key with transponder then I installed that to this key best of all worlds! Some people install transponder to dash which is dumb then a screwdriver will start your sti. Make sure to test transponder location on the key to ensure it’s stays running if the transponder isn’t close enough the car will start then die! Great mod

Bought this key for my 2014 WRX. Had it cut and programmed to the car at a locksmith, and I programmed the buttons myself. Works flawlessly. Also comes with the battery preinstalled which was nice since I expected I was going to have to purchase the battery separately.

Beautiful addition to any Subaru enthusiast’s key ring! I bought this for my 2001 Forester and had it cut at a hardware store.Beautiful design, although the “handle” of the key does wear quite quickly leaving a slight oiled patina.It is heavier than a standard key, by probably 3-4 times.

Well... It's a key, it's not the right length, will need to be modified to fit. It's also not a real STI titanium key, I've one a real one, they aren't meant to be heavy, this is painted zinc or something, but I can at least make it work which is why it isn't getting one star, I'm just annoyed that I got sold a fake genuine subaru product.If I really wanted a reproduction that didn't fit I could have paid less and gotten the same thing. Disappointed...Update, i was able to mark the key with calipers, trim with a jewlers saw, re-ground in the tip angle, matched to the original key dimensions, it works, just a word of warning, this works with older gc/gm subarus but will require rework, looks the part and hasnt showed any signs of failure yet, the coating on the key portion ia wearing off, but does not affect the functionality.

Bought for my 2002 wrx because I only had one key. My previous wrx had this same key for a year and a half and still worked amazing and remained very durable. I will definitely buy this key for any subaru I get
