All I needed to do was touch it and feel it in my hand, and I new it was quality crafted. I own property that I maintain and for which I am a steward. I always have some type of bladed tool with me, whether it is clippers, or a felling are, and usually take my puck with me. This pouch has the thickness to stand up to an abrasive puck, and fits well on my belt or toolbelt. I can now have my puck easily at hand to give a quick sharpening! It makes a great gift too.

I was surprised that the leather was so pliable. I was expecting something more like a leather box than a leather pouch. It holds a Lansky puck perfectly and the snap is quite robust. It’s a bit pricey, but heirloom quality. I’m sure one might find some shabby Chinese product at a lower price, but this is worth the money.

Helko Werk are renowned for making quality axdes and equipment, this is a good example of their workmanship. Nothing flashy but a quality piece of leather, strong stitching, well constructed overall. Functional, slides onto a belt with ease and an excellent fit for the sharpening stone it is made for. Well presented for such a small item, useful information covering the wide rang of Helko Werk axes and the history of the Company. I have no hesitation in recommending Helko Werk products..

It's tight on the puck and the snap is strong. I wanted to hold them in a leather case rather than nylon...I think the price should be a lot lower though. That's mainly why I can't give it a higher rating.

The snap came off literally the first try! the craftsmanship and leather looks to be of good quality but the snap tore out easily. For this price you would expect it be tough and last more than few seconds.Update: the seller contacted me explained this should not have happened and quickly sent a replacement which not only looks beautiful, it works perfectly. I am very satisfied with the quality of this pouch and the company's awesome customer service.

Like all of the other Helko Products I own, this is of fantastic quality and craftsmanship. Fits most sharpening pucks. I say most because I don't own all of the Pucks out there, but it works for the Lansky, Helko and Smiths I have. Very very well put together and cleanly finished. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I use mine and carry a stone when chopping wood. You can touch up an edge while in the woods without a major problem. This has a belt loop on it and fits a larger belt if needed.
