This may be my new favorite budget flat pedal.
I was recently running a set of Spank Oozy trail pedals on my 100/140 travel 27.5+ bike. I had an issue with the spindle threads and needed to find a cheap pedal to use for a week or two while I try to warranty the spanks. After some research, I decided to pull the trigger on the Fookers from amazon, instead of my usual go-to wellgo pedals. So far I'm very happy that I went with the fookers. The cartridge bearings are a nice touch, teh pedals spin freely, and have a TON of grip on my 5.10 freeriders. They are probably even grippier than my spank pedals, though the first few minutes felt a bit weird while my feet got used to the larger mid pedal bulge instead of the nice concave shape of the spanks. After a few minutes it was a non-issue, and the grip is fantastic. Ive only got about 60 miles on the pedals so far, but theyve held up well to my 230+ lbs ride weight. The alloy is a touch soft, as a few pedal strikes through rock gardens have left some deep scars, but for the price, I'm certainly not gonna complain. I find myself in no rush to get the spanks back on the bike. Unless these pedals give me a reason to swap, they'll probably be on my bike for the foreseeable future.

Flawed design
I have put about 75 miles on these so far. For chill riding these are fine, but I have been on several rides now where my feet have gotten a little wet and my 5.10's have started slipping off. The center has zero grip and sticks up a little more than the teeth, which means a majority of your weight and foot surface is over slick metal, instead of the area with teeth. Unfortunately these pedals are too dirty to return, or else I would. Not a huge fan and would not recommend for anyone who rides in damp climates.Update: rode them again yesterday in humid conditions. My 5.10 s were slipping all over the place. Not my shin is gashed up. Stay away from these. The design has serious flaws.

Better than I hoped
Overall terrific quality & performance.Stylish with variety of colors.Priced fairly. No regrets.Arrived on time. Simple packaging. High quality flat pedals with wide surface and adjustable grip screws. Easy straightforward installation using my long-armed Allen wrench.Took them to a fun freestyle track near my home with half a dozen wide and steep burms and about a full dozen jumps of all heights. The pedals performed much better than expected. Smooth operation and super grippy! You need to have a sturdy-soled pair of shoes with these pedals. I wear Altra Torins (known for very wide toe box & durable soles). These pedals are plenty wide for my extra wide Altras. Love that.Grippiness was impressive. Felt glued in and never worried about slipping. Felt solidly connected to the bike.Only minor criticism is there isn’t a grip screw in the center of the pedal. There are 8 which are more than enough but they are only located on the front and back edges of the pedal. I’m a fan of throwing one in the center of the pedal to maximize grip. Fortunately this pedal excells at grippiness and the lack of a center screw is not a weakness.Great pedal at a good price. Glad I purchased. Highly recommend. Make sure you have a wide & sturdy shoe though.

beautiful, functional, potentially painful
They look fantastic - every bit as good in person as in the product photos.Grip is pretty good, but I think it would be even better if they had a few more screws closer to the middle of the pedal. It really hurts if they whack you in the shins, and if you slip off the pedals, the screws will cut up your legs. I actually wear soccer shin guards when I ride because of this. Also, the screws will sometimes get stuck in the fabric of my socks. They are not as solid as I expected. In a fairly minor crash the stem of one got bent. Fortunately I was able to hammer it back to being relatively flat, but it no longer spins as freely as it once did.UPDATE: after riding on it a while it went back to spinning freely.

They let me down at the worst possible time
At first I thought these were great. I installed these on my touring road bike and left for the summer. They felt fine on my feet and gripped well. Then in the middle of nowhere my right pedal just snapped off for no reason. They only had 700 miles on them fortunately I found a farmer who helped me rig a bolt in place so I could limp to the next town 30 miles away. These pedals let me down at the worst possible time.

great metal pedal
These have a great bearing in them. No noise and spin freely. the threaded spikes are a good length and a good standard in production. all threads set fully and snug. I prefer the metal pedal over the nylon fiber (plastic type) pedal. I weigh 225 and have had no issues. I'm an older guy so mostly fitness and light trail so no crazy impacting on the pedal. I have nylon fiber on my other bike and anticipate those crapping out before these do. I'll purchase these again.

Much better than expected!
I really was not expecting much for the price. However, these pedals are really nice and the bearings are smooth. I am not sure how long they will hold up, but for this price if they make it a season they are worth it. They look great and the quality is REALLY nice. I ride with Five Ten shoes and these things stick like glue. The screws stick up far and will definitely tear up your shins if you slip. They are more like eight razor blades. However, the idea is to stick to the pedal and not slip. These so far are doing the job. I am not too sure how these would be with any other type of shoe due to the height of the screws, but you could always replace with shorter screws if you find that to be an issue. I will update this if they don't last, but I expect to be purchasing a few more pair real soon!
