Military Style Durable Canvas Messenger Bag Unisex Shoulder Bag Grey Black

Yeah, it looks strong. But the strap is weak. It doesn't even have the capability to handle 2 text books and some apples and oranges. I was embarrassed when it snapped off my shoulder in Downtown Los Angeles' Farmer's Market. The seams on the bottom are also going to tear soon. Too bad. The bag looks great with no logos. That's why I like it.On the upside, it so happens I live above a leather shop and the owner of the place did a great job crafting 2 high quality leather rivets on both ends where the threading ripped off of . So, I probably gave this bag a little longer life rather than passive-aggressively throwing this out in the river. It lives another day. And so do I. If you buy this, don't be too surprised if it falls part anywhere you really depend on it the most.

I enjoy this bag. It's not too big and, likewise, not too small. Color is accurate and true to the photos. The Seller is great. Received the bag promptly and sooner than expected for just paying for the regular shipping option. Excellent customer service the bag was wrapped well and undamaged. What I do not enjoy about the bag is that the material is too thin. Once I started to actively use the bad, a hole started to appear on the top right side on a seam. This, I believe, is more a manufacture's defect than an issue responsible by the seller. Also, the zipper on the front flap is already coming apart from its seams. I would not recommend this particular bag because the material does not seem to be strong enough for everyday normal use.

I made the big mistake of buying multiple bags in one order from Amazon. I'm already returning two of the six bags I received yesterday but today I received this bag and I wish I could return this POS. I don't want to return too many items which is all that is saving this bag.This is the worst (no hyperbole) canvas bag I have ever had the displeasure of purchasing. The material is very thin, the canvas is extremely cheap, the black canvas is already covered in lint and about a thousand other particles. It stinks like petroleum or cheap pleather. The stitching is crooked and the lining is not even cut and sewn on correctly. I wouldn't trust the bag to hold the few literature books I need for school, which means it fails even in it's own function as a messenger. It's way smaller than you would expect from the dimensions and it's just awful overall. I'm going to eat the cost, throw it in the garbage and consider it a lesson learned but first I will take pictures to post so this storefront can be avoided altogether.Also the first reviewer is right the fourth picture is absolutely not the bag you receive. False advertising all around.

It's a good size and I love the outside pocket. Unfortunately after using this pretty much every day for about a year, the edging started to crack pretty badly. Also, I would have to adjust the strap several inches after a few hours if it was on the heavy side, as it would creep down pretty far.

I was so happy when I received the bag it looked so sturdy and nice. I had the bag for two weeks when in the middle of running to class the strap broke. I had to hold the bag while running. I had to put safety pins to secure the strap to the bag. Since I am a student I can't afford to get a new one. So that is why I rated it a two star.

This was a great purchase, and at a great price!! I like that it is free of any "designer labels" and somewhat vintage-y. I love the strong canvas and the multitude of pockets with buckles. Plenty of room for keys, cell phone, sunglasses, calculator, wallet, stapler, etc., and of course, lipstick! I am in nursing school and sometimes have overloaded the bag with really heavy textbooks...not a good idea. A couple of the seams are coming apart, but I will sew them up with super strong thread. The adjustable shoulder strap is absolutely imperative for a bag of this style. I can adjust it to the right length for me. Wearing it across my chest allows me to have free hands for carrying my coffee and water bottle! If you're looking for something flashy or trendy, this is not the bag for you. If you want quality and subtle "coolness", this is it!!! Btw, the color in the descriptor says "grey black", but I have to say it is more of an olive green/brown.

I have had this bag less than one month. The intended use, was for college. With only a few books and sometimes my laptop, I imagined there would be no issues. Especially since the word "durable" is in the explanation title. The stitching holding the should strap has since ripped off, as well as the main (big) pocket zipper has broken from the first try of zipping it up. I am very un happy with this purchase, especially since this product wasn't cheap to begin with.

The front zipper was broken. However the rest of the bag is fine. There arn't any loose threads or other broken zippers and snaps.
