Stride Rite Star Wars Retro Skywalker Sneaker (Toddler)

Super cute shoes! I had been looking to replace a different pair of Star Wars shoes that my son outgrew and was so excited when I finally found these! Overall I love them, but there a few negatives that I want to mention.They are slightly harder to get on than most other shoes. It seems like the ankle opening isn’t quite big enough, but it may be because they haven’t been broken in enough yet. My son (18 months old and small for his age) has only worn them 4-5 times so far. They also seem to fit a bit tighter overall than other size 5 shoes we own (most size 5 shoes are slightly big and these are slightly snug) but again, maybe they just need to be stretched out a bit more. Also, as mentioned above, my son has only worn these a few times and some of the silver lettering is already starting to rub off. :( I guess that’s to be expected with toddler shoes to an extent, but I wouldn’t have expected it to happen quite this quickly.Despite the downsides I mentioned, overall the shoes seem to be made well for the price and my son seems to like them so I’d recommend them. :)

LOVE these shoes for our almost 2 year old! I got him a size 7 1/2 because his Crocs fit perfectly at a size 7 and I had expected these Stride Rites to be something to grow into, but lengthwise they're shorter than expected! So, that said, a size 7 in Crocs is equivalent to the 7 1/2 in these shoes. It's okay because he needed shoes anyways other than his Crocs. He loves them and puts them on himself to run around the house in. He cried last night when I took them off and was grabbing at my legs so he could put them back on. These are super cute too, have flexible soles, seem well constructed, and are soft. The laces are stretchy so it makes it easier for him to pull his shoes on or for us to get them on him plus, his feet are kind of wide so the stretchy laces help with that. These are a solid buy, I just suggest maybe buying a size up just in case.

I really wanted to like these shoes after reading reviews, but like many other toddler shoes, the opening is too small and they are hard to get over his heel. He gets fussy when I'm trying to force them on his foot and the back on the shoe often caves in when trying to get it over his heel. There's a velcro strap and fake laces on the front that are a little stretchy, but not enough to get the shoe open very wide. Maybe if this shoe came in a wide width it would fit him better. Once they are on, they seem like they fit fine, though.

Very cute, well made sneakers. My son seems comfortable running around in them. Ordered a size 5 for my 18 month old (he has little feet) and they just fit. We have other size 5 shoes that fall off his feet but this pair fits with no room to grow. Will order a half size bigger than what I think he needs next time.

These shoes are a big hit. They are easy to put on our 18 month old, and he does not trip over his feet. Of course, being Star Wars makes them extra cool. I downloaded the printable fit guide from Stride Rite and the shoes fit very well. I recommend the guide, as he measured differently for other brands.

Love these shoes! I bought them because my husband is a huge Star Wars fan and our little man needed a new pair of shoes after one of his went missing (we only buy him Stride Rite) and I was so surprised at how adorable they are! They are extremely well made like all of the Stride Rite shoes we have purchased and our little guy seems to love them.

Cute shoes, good fit, and my lil one really likes them. However they just don't hold up to normal everyday use by a toddler who mainly wears them on short walks and indoor use. The toe has started to separate from the sole, and the suede type material looks terrible after wearing just a few times. Very hard to keep clean. A wipe down will not do.

Love the shoe. Bought them for my son to learn how to walk. Definitely made for a more slender fit. They fall off my fat-footed baby very easily. If they still fit when he starts walking they'll probably work much better. Definitely not a good crawl shoe.
